Riley was approaching some vampires....but he followed them through a door and at this moment, the door in Milliway's flies open and a man in a somewhat form fitting shirt, sneaks...well maybe not as sneaky as he had hoped....into the Bar and Restaurant at the end of the universe. Riley Finn glances around him bewildered, well maybe quite confused as he straightens himself out. He purses his lips and walks slowly through the place, trying to take in the fact that there's a bar in a CRYPT!

Riley breathes in deeply.

"I'm not sure. I mean, what if they need me back home? I'm still part of a team..."

Giles remarked, "They might, but if you are in such a state, your help will be minimal if not a detriment right now. I understand that sometimes time stops while one is here."

In a gentler voice, he added, "We've managed before, and will do so again. Better to be fully prepared and alert, you know mistakes cannot be made in what we do."

Riley sighs and shakes his head.

"I don't know. I felt comfortable with the fact that demons and vampires exist but now, with the bar at the end of the universe? I feel like my boundaries have been spread way too thin."

Giles nodded, "I'm sorry, it's quite a shock to take in at first. There are rooms available here if you wish to rest." Plus, it was easy to forget how strange their world might seem to outsiders. After all, he'd been raised with the knowledge of such creatures. And many of Buffy's friends readily accepted it when confronted with the truth.

And then there was Riley who was pumped full of drugs and trained to hunt Vampires and other supernatural beings much like Buffy.

"I don't know. I mean, this place certainly isn't Sunnydale."

Yes, but it beats getting raped by a shadowy demon like the First Slayer was, at least.

Giles nodded, "Yes, well you'll find that is both good and bad here. There are other vampires and demons, many not from our world. But they have learned to obey the rules here, and for those who don't, we have security, and jail cells here for any who would think otherwise."

Riley crosses his arms a bit. He thinks for a moment.

"The question though is...if time stops back home, how long do I stay here?"

"That is up to you really. You can leave right now if you want to. I can only advise you. It's still your decision."

Or if you can leave that is.
