Rincewind is sitting at the bar, getting some food, and looking around. Compared to the last year or so, this is nice and sane and normal. And boring. In time, he might want to go back to his slightly less boring state (such as at such point things become too interesting here) but for now he's good.

Rincewind probably wouldn't recognize Susan, and vice verse, but who cares? They're from the same turtle-borne elephant-supported flat-disc-shaped planet.

Rincewind glances up at his hat that is plainly proclaiming the fact, then at Susan, and feels an odd familiarity in her. Of course, maybe that shiver is just because it's cold.
