OOM, sometime before Christmas because Hat sucks.
Some time after the terribly handwaved OOM, Jeannie found herself sent to her bottle again-- but this time, not corked. Just to keep her out from underfoot.
Of course, a bottle, however luxuriously appointed, can get rather dull.
Luckily, there have been more interesting places in Jeannie's bottle, lately, and a bit of concentration and a blink...
And where there was nothing, there is suddenly a young and bubbly blonde genie in Milliways, smiling and pleased with herself.

For one thing, it's not wearing a turban.
She smiles at it, vaguely, despite the urge to pat its head. It could be somebody's pet, after all, or it could be somebody. It's hard to tell.

"I am Jeannie. It is nice to meet you." That Aahz creature, the prevect, knew a different sort of djinni. Jeannie decides to be diplomatic and assume this is what he meant, and not suggest that the Venus Djinni Flower is funny-looking.

"You also. That was an unusual method of arrival."

"Hello. You are one of those angry dragon things, are you not?"

Raptor Red, though, is on the lookout for Scribble. She heads towards the chick, letting out an annoyed squawk-something she's still good at, even in human form. But when she sees Jeannie, she stops, eyeing her suspiciously. "I remember you."

Then, given that Scribble has nice manners (she hopes), blinks at Scribble, intending to conjure something to keep the smaller dragon-creature-thingy occupied. Could be food, could be toys, could be a live chicken-- but it's something reasonably small.
"I remember you, too." Then, entirely casual to the point of deliberacy, "And how have you been? You are looking well..."

"I've been eating, but that's only because I learned to eat like a human. And we can't go home, because I'll be eaten."

Jeannie would think of analogies including mongooses and snakes, but the trouble is... well, it's just not the same when your mongoose has phenomenal cosmic powers.
... Wait, wrong canon.

He stares at Jeannie a long moment after her arrival.
To make completely sure she's not in his head, he comments, "Nice entrance."

"... Thank you?" Hopefully he is not a harbinger of... well, anything too particular.

"Yes, I'm a talking, floating skull. You're someone that can appear in a bar at the end of the universe without using the Door. Now that we're all caught up...."

She didn't scream, at least. She's prone to that, when startled.

"So," he bobs a bit closer to her, "what kind of being of magnificent, cosmic power are you, hmm?" He eyes her speculatively.
...Which doesn't mean he's checking her out. Oh no. Never. Wouldn't dream of it.

Morte eyes her a bit longer this time, up and down, finally announcing, "Ah, yes, genie. I should've recognized that.
"Me? Well, chit, I'm a mimir - a floating encyclopedia on Sigil and the Planes."
