Arithon, badge visible because as far as he knows he's on tonight, enters the bar and finds a seat at Bar herself. This only means that when he's informed what he'll be eating by Tashka it is a bit faster than normal, as instead of chittering and returning with food, Bar serves the meal.
That's right. His life is run by a rat.
So there is a bemused Master of Shadows looking at a bowl of soup, mug of ale, and plate of dark bread.
((My computer is trying to explode. I'm not ignoring you. Comments are going in odd places, but really. I'm not ignoring you.))

He says it mildly. The unspoken should be clear, however. He is not living with Nick any more,
"And teaches Lord Ostium's children."

He liked teaching Geoff maths, so...good.

Arithon's voice is still mild. It holds mildness like a cup might hold water, or a picture hold light,
"And then I tossed it to the Lady Bar."

[softly, sincerely,]
Thank you.

He says quietly,
"We might have been brothers, yes?"
And he holds up a hand, small and delicate. If it were paler, it could be one of Alex's hands; as his eyes could be Alex's eyes if they were an ounce less s'Ffalenn, as his hair could be Alex's hair if it were merely shorter.
"Here we are much the same. Roth, I have called him, and brother I think of him. What harms my brother harms me."
Yes, even those things that hurt Lysaer hurt Arithon.

[then, finally, expressionlessly,]
Well. I'd hate to see what would happen if you met his Grace.

Arithon says quietly, tapping the badge with one finger,
"I would do only as that gives writ to. I am s'Ffalenn."

Although even if the rules did not exist, Arithon would still not go after Roger.

So, probably a good thing I didn't pull the trigger, then.

He says calmly. Ramon likes to shoot people too.

[a little shrug - yeah, that worked.]

He says it mildly, but certainly,
"It is within my ability. It is a part of the job."

Anyway, I best not be keeping you...say hello to Alex for me. And the my invitation if he just wants to come around and talk is still open.

He promises it with the sort of voice that means it is not an empty one.
"And do you wish to come see him, speak but the word and I shall bring you into the House of Arch."

Goodnight, though, Arithon.
[and with that, she walks away. Yes, walks, not saunters]
