The Twins were downstairs, sitting across from each other in a booth.

They weren't working on a jigsaw puzzle as they had been recently, but were both folding a small menangerie of animals, most no bigger than a thumb, every fold precise, the paper almost blindingly white.

They worked in silence, as they so often did, and, oddly, were sunglasses-less and not so unapprochable as usual.

The lack of sunglasses gets this birds attention and it swoops down from the rafters and lands on their table. It begins to study the paper animals.

The bird wasn't ignored so much, just not really encouraged.

Well, except for the part where a small almost blindingly bright origami almost-raven was slid closer, followed by a crane, and then a beetle.

If the bird could smile it would.

"Very Impressive" the female voice coos. "Is there anything you can't do?"

There were arched brows passed back and forth, and then one of the pair spoke, amusement wound liberally through the tone, "We could ask the same of you."

"With the right friends anything is possible." she chirps back happily as she can tell they know who it is.

"Ah." Said one, and the other added, "Of course."

If she were still capable of seeing color, she might notice the occasional flickers of green across the twins' otherwise black eyes. Sort of like an opal stone done in negative.

One of the two had stopped folding for the moment, brushing tight dreadlocks back over his shoulder, "Have you eaten?"

Now that would be a sight to see if she could. Perhaps she can catch them while in human form without their sunglasses.

The head tilts from one side to the other, "Not in some time."

The one who had asked, we'll say it's Two for the sake of arguement, shook his head, "We'll just have to remedy that." He tilted his head then, brow arching, "Anything in particular that you would like?"

The birds head tilts from one side to the other as Amanda tries to understand what this body craves for nuritiment.

Eventually she says "ground up beef heart." sad to say not the strangest thing she has ever eaten.

[OOC: sorry about the rediculously long slowtime, have been ill]

The twin nodded, "Very well." And slipped away to the bar to get all three of them something to eat.

An origami reindeer was placed next to her, One almost smiling, the antlers were tricky.

If they were looking they would most likely notice Amanda playing with the reindeer. Not harming it but still playing. May have something to do with her christmas party.

She is very impressed by their handy work and waits patiently for them to return.

It was only a minute or two before they returned, Two carrying a shallow bowl which he set beside the bird, sweeping the folded paper menagerie out of the way gently, "There you are."

The twins themselves had soup. Slightly murky soup with bits of things floating in it. Probably best not to ask what it is really.

Well it's not like her stomach is particularly quisy at the moment so she probably would if she wasn't already busy with her own meal. Quietly she nibbles the food the best she can.

"Thank you." she adds as she finishes it.

They had finished their own by that point as well, "You're welcome."

One's head tilted slightly, "So why the change of hue?"

"I'm going to visit a friends world and to do so I needed to be something other then human. Or more specfically something that doesn't have two legs. SO I chose the form of a raven."

The twins glanced at each other, then back at her, Two tapping the table in front of each of her feet, "One, two."
One smiled faintly, "Or do drumsticks not count as legs?"

Lifting one of them up, "Claws don't count as legs." she confirms, "They have something about humans or any whom they would believe to be human." if she could she would shrug, "Hence the raven form."

"Ah." They both said. This made sense to them, oddly enough. After all, they could relate, more or less.

Really they could relate to a lot of things, didn't mean they were always correct.

"Yes." the bird looks form one to the other, "Have you two ever had a birds eye view of the world. Been able to soar over everything?"

They glanced at each other once more, then nodded, "Oh yes." One of the benefits of ghost-shape.

"Not as often as we should. But we have."

Again she would like to smile. This is becoming a decidely annoying thing about this form. The inability to smile.

"That is wonderful. It is wonderful." Oh how she loves the freedom.

Birds can smile, it's mostly around the eyes though, total opposite of the Twins.

One had already started adding to what was rapidly becoming a flock of reindeer. Which left Two to do the talking, "And where is it you're going that humans are so banned?"

"A farm." yes that may sound strange but it's true, "It's my roommates home." the reindeer are being watched, "Don't suppose you could do a cheetah?"

"Ah." Said Two, as if this made perfect sense. Though he had already picked up a piece of paper to start on a cheetah, the tail really was the trickiest bit, since it had to be done with two tiny strips of paper folded into a spring.

What they were doing wasn't strictly origami, but partially kirigami as well, papercutting.

Whatever they were doing Amanda is impressed and they may find that she will steal some by the end of this conversation for the nest she has started to put together in the rafters. Yes there are somethings in teh birds nature she is still trying to work through.

"Where did you learn to do this?" yes Amanda can do this too, just not as well nor as quickly.

She's welcome to them really, as the Twins were just going to leave them scattered here and there throughout the bar to observe reactions later.

They glanced at each other once more at the question, Two smiled slightly, "At the Merovingian's chateau. We often had days at a time to ourselves."
One nodded, "And could only distract each other for so long."

"Ah. Yes." the birds head bobs up and down in a nod or close approximation.

Oh she will. Amanda might normally ask but the Raven will just take off iwth it. Obviously if they had a problem with it they could take it from the raven.

Finally a pair of cheetas, slightly different, but each with those folded spring tails, were set before her, one was sitting one was stretched out ready to pounce.

Ooh, tough choice. She will of course take the one about to pounce. So much more fun.

"Thank you. Now I think I will be off." she takes the cheetah in her beak and departs for somewhere in teh rafters.
