milliways_bar | (no subject)

There is a raven perched next to her. The head moving from side to side as it studies the young woman. She may see shiny's but the woman inside the bird is fighting to keep those impulses in check.

And, said girl looks up, and blinks, eyebrows furled in the perfect 'WTF' expression. She did not know there were any small animals in the bar...

There are many in fact. There are at least three other ravens that patron the bar that she knows of.

The expression is amusing and if she could she would smile. Instead she ops for chirping.

[OOC: Note, will not attempt to steal jewel shards without permission.]

She blinks a couple of times, a hand lightly grabbing at the small bottle about her neck containing the few jewel shards she has in her possession. She leans back a bit, cautiously.

Smart girl.

"What are those?" the bird finally asks. Resting in a sitting position on the bar. Showing that she isn't going to make a move for them.

Now, her mouth gapes open, that same bewildered look in her eyes. "...What the...you talk?!" She says in surprise. Damnit, first she walks in and starts feeling REALLY bad pains, and now THIS?!

The head tilts again. Amanda was sure she had seen this girl in here before and it seems strange to her that she wouldn't know about the talking animals.

"Yes I can talk. Many of the animals in bar can." she would explain more but this girl seems to be dealing with enough of a shock, "And that seems to be bar wide. All the living mortal women seem to have sycrinized their menstral cycles." try saying that ten times fast.

She loks at the bird, then shouts angrily, "You think?!" And, now she feels like sitting Inuyasha, though with no real reason as to why. Then again, if he were here, he's probably wind up doing something stupid, anyway.

Head tilts again not taking this personally as she does sympathize. Though it does seem that she has gotten over her shock so that's a plus, right?

"I'm Amanda" she offers in the hopes of changing the subject. She knows that there is no right response.

She blinks, sitting back now. "...A bird with a name?" Then something finally hits her. She sits back, slouching a bit, as she folds her hands in her lap. "...Kagome..." she says softly, though a bit reluctantly.

"It's nice to meet you Kagome."

Again the head tilts from one side to the other, "What is the matter?" a brief pause, "Other then the obvious."

She blinks, looking up. "...Well, other than that..." She turns and glares angrily to the side. "It's just...some stupid guy I know..." True, Inuyasha didn't seem to have much of a brain when it came to things. More recently, however, he managed to really send her off the deep end, which in turn, got him sat several times in a row.

The poor guy.

"Who?" no she hasn't turned into an owl all of a sudden. She is a raven and therefore curious by nature. Looking up at the girl with those black eyes.

A light growl seems to come from the girl, and she grows even moreso enraged. "The stupid jerk made fun of my cooking!" She shouts, shooting to her feet.

"That's rude." it takes some time for it allto catch up in her bird brain and then she realizes Kagome. InuYasha mentioned her. But this doesn't seem like the time to mention it.

Kagome crosses her arms over her chest and seems to pout a bit, shifting her weight a bit. "I swear, all that guy likes is Ramen Noodles...I try my best to cook my greatest omelettes, curry, everything! He still doesn't seem to like it!" Okay, now she's getting off into a rant...and, at a bird, no less. She sighs, slouching where she stands slightly.

"That was very sweet of you. And I'm sure he didn't mean to hurt your feelings."

Head tilt, it really doesn't do much more then that. Hard to show emotions as a bird.

She then stamps a foot. "He's just so dense! He thinks he can handle everything with that stupid sword of his, and not thinking about it! I swear, I've had to bandage him up at least six times in the past week, or so..."

And, mun will soon having to be running off to work here soon, so may need to plack out, or something, at that point. Apologies.

Ahh. Amanda thinks that this is really cute. "You're talking about InuYasha?" her conversation with him was brief and therefor it was hard to get a good judge of how dense he can be.

Now, she blinks, shifting slightly, and letting her arms slowly falls to her sides. She's...surprised...Again... "...You know InuYasha?" She asks, a bit in disbelief.

And, mun must poof, but will gladly continue this another time REAL soon...This is too good of a thread to just let die at this point... ^_^

The little head bobs, "Yes, met him here last week. He is Sesshomaru's brother." guess she isn't used to speaking with such socialab;e people at Milliways. Amanda knows more peple then her mun would care to count.
