Sometime after his talk with Anna, Campbell Alexander came downstairs from his little corner room again.

This time, with a sign for the noteboard:

ATTN: Those Fond of Dogs
Seven purebred Doberman Pinschers are up for sale by their owners (Campbell Alexander and Isobel Romano, of Rhode Island, Earth, 2005) and will be available to any and all Milliways patrons.

They are bred for show, service or domestic companionship. All are up to date with their shots.

Pricing depends on potential owners.

If interested, please sign below and look for us later -- "we" will probably have a sign and will definitely have a box of puppies.

And then, he's back upstairs again.

A Helldog to join the team? Oh heck yes!

Tim Hunter, I'd love to have one of these lovely dogs.

Miho reads the note carefully, and stands tapping her finger against her lip for a moment. Dobermans, she knows. Fiercely loyal, protective, intelligent. Dogs don't judge you, not like people do. And all dogs can be trained to respond to non-verbal commands. So she scribbles quickly on the note.

I'd like to see the puppies and talk with you.

Miho.
She signs her name both in romanised english, and hiregana.

Steph peers at the note, and a grin breaks over her face.

Puppies!

Hi, I'm Stephanie Brown, I live in the Bar, I'd totally love a puppy. Talk to you soon!

Don had been pacing the bar for some time now and notices the sign. It interests him.

While he doesn't mind dogs he doesn't think now's the best time to be looking after one, let alone figure where he was going to stay.

He shrugs and moves on.

Snow considers the sign. Millie and Wade have dropped hints about wanting a pet, and after getting attached to Snowball, their requests have been leaning more in the direction of a dog. A playmate to keep them busy when they're stuck inside, which is always good. And if they get a puppy, they'll hopefully be less likely to want a demonic bunny or something else that's even more difficult to control.

Hm.

Sign now, discuss things with Bigby before agreeing to anything solid.

Snow White.

Puppies -- !

-- Is the reaction in order here, because despite all evidence to the contrary, Alfred is a Boy, and what Boy wouldn't like a puppy? The penniless (guilderless?) former actor sighs at the sign, and makes room in his busy schedule to come and stare wistful and pathetic-like at the box later.

(Admittedly, it's not a very busy schedule.)

Wells gives the sign some consideration. Eventually he locates a pencil.

I've had some experience with dogs in the past, mostly large breeds suitable for guard duty. Might be interested. -- Sgt. H. G. Wells

A note may have been left at this sign (even though the mun meant to do this uh, weeks ago).

It says:

:)
