OOM: [Russell goes home...for one day.]
It just so happens that Russell was wondering about how the whole door to Milliways thing works right as he opened the door to his room.
Silly Russell, now you're stuck in a bar again.
Except for this time the door didn't disappear. And Russell has his battered old notebook and pencil with him. And chalk. Just in case he has to use alchemy.
Russell decides to stay anyway, he's more prepared this time and, really, the bar is as good a place as any to go over his notes.

"Of...you." he says, unsure.
"That could make him believe me...but it could also make him worry about me more."
Pause.
"Do you have a camera?"
no subject
He pauses.
"Don't have a camera, but we could get one from the bar."
no subject
"Lead the way," he motions.
Russell still doesn't know about Bar.
no subject
Yes, Ed is joking.
He hops up and starts walkign towards the bar.

"You know, I never thought you were the type to like getting your picture taken," he comments.

Another thought occurs to him.
"I could give it to Al when we go to visit him, if you want."
no subject
"Yeah," he says, a bit gratefully.
no subject
"So, where's this camera?"
no subject
She obliges them quickly, and it appears on the bartop.
"Thanks."

Oh, the beauty of tabs.

As long as there was some form of equivalent exchange involved, Russell was fine with that.
Russell picks up the camera and peers through the lens, moving back some to get Ed in the frame.
"Ready?"
no subject
And that maybe Al doesn't even remember him looking this old.
So in the end, he just gives the camera the nicest smile he can muster.
"Ready!"
no subject
"One...two..." Click!
He lowers the camera.
"Do you want to try another just in case?"

"I'll take the film with me when I leave next," he says, fiddling with the camera.
no subject
Oh, convenience.

He hands the camera to Ed, not quite sure how a bar is actually able to develop pictures.
no subject
He looks at Russ expectantly.
no subject
He rememberes Ed's example and speaks confidently.
"Bar. Can you develop these pictures? Please?" He adds out of habit.
He waits, hoping he said everything right, and watches as the camera disappears and two glossy photographs appear in its place.
"These alright?" he asks.
