Melou pushes the door open to his room, only to find himself in the bar. He figures he has three options. He can close the door and try to get into his room again, he can get Melehan and go into the bar, or he can go in by himself.

He hesitates for a moment before entering the bar and closing the door behind him. Thankfully, it remains visible.

Well, since Melehan went in first without him, it was only fair.

He grins, and offers another bow.

"I'm glad to have pleased you, sir."

Raven winces faintly.

"The sir is problematic, I think. Also it is not accurate. Raven will do, yes?"

[dragon_twin]

"If you want. Raven, then." Melou grins.

"Fish?"

[creator_raven]

"Yes. Also cotton."

He nods, sharply.

[dragon_twin]

Cue more blinking.

"Cotton?"

[creator_raven]

"It is like cloth, but fluffier."

This is, of course, very Helpful.

[dragon_twin]

Actually, it is.

"A fish stuffed with cotton?" There is only one question left, really. "Why?"

[creator_raven]

Raven looks startled.

"You are not fond of toys, perhaps?"

Sacrilege!

[dragon_twin]

"Oh, a toy." He grins again. "Don't play with them so much anymore now."

[creator_raven]

Raven's eyebrows go up farther.

"You have lost them all, perhaps?"

[dragon_twin]

"Not all of them, but we have more important things to do now. Like learning how to fight. With swords!"

[creator_raven]

"You need them so much, then?"

[dragon_twin]

"Swords? Yes. We're at war. Or, we will be, anyway."

[creator_raven]

Some things, it seems, will never change.

"There is reason behind it?"

[dragon_twin]

"The King is dead." Melou replies quietly. "We need a new one."

[creator_raven]

"And the war will help in some way?"

He tilts his head.

"I have yet to see it so, I think."

[dragon_twin]

"In the short run it will. I doubt war of any kind is good in the long run, but it's what has to be done." He scuffs a foot against the floor.

[creator_raven]

"Very few things are inevitable, I think."

Raven grins.

"Especially in the particulars."

[dragon_twin]

"Yeah, I guess." Melou sighs.

"I should be getting back. Got in enough trouble for being drunk last time."

[creator_raven]

Raven nods.

"It is best to be cautious."

Hypocrite.

"Til later, then."

And in a flash of black feathers, Raven is gone.
