Tahiri comes downstairs, cursing quietly to herself. The cells have been getting more and more full lately, and while there seems to be room for all of them, it doesn't solve the problem of what's making people go all crazy.
Plus she seems to be coming down with a sniffle.
All of this is immediately forgotten when she enters the bar proper-- all of a sudden her head feels funny, too heavy, and she's cold.
The Jedi reaches a hand up to press against her forehead, then stops when she sees that her skin seems to have turned from pale winter-white to... red and yellow and purple and blue? And her jumpsuit has somehow turned into something obscenely thin and covered in sequins.
"What the kriff?"

She decides, after a while, spinning in circles again and offering more beads.
She's not going to run out any time soon.

"So you're from Earth."

She says brightly,
"I'm from a spirit realm aligned with Under The Hill which is something like, but not quite, a parallel dimension involving rather more spirits than aliens."

"How long does this holiday last?"

Dance dance dance!
"Just a day, to midnight, wheee!"

"Good."

She informs the Jedi,
"Should have several drinks, look around at who is wearing less than you...or wilder than you...count your blessings, and dance. Its a party."

"Since I'm dressed up anyway I might as welll..."

Even if that strange rainbow tattooing looks sorta hot.
"Whatcha wearing, sandflea?"

"Your kriffing urrk-- AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA."

He walks over, making random motions with the cape as he does.
"Look, we even get this astral cape thing as part of it!"

Zekk slowly turns around for her and then tilts his head, waiting expectantly. "It can't be that bad, sandflea. At least my costume actually covers my skin."

Have we mentioned that by this time, she's already had at least one drink with Ako? And is also wearing beads? Because she is and has and will be.
"Awwww ventcrawler, you know you like my new jumpsuit." Tahiri takes off a couple of the sparkly strands and drapes them around Zekk's neck. It's a bit hard to get them over his gigantic hair, but she manages.

He reaches out to poke a blue spot on her skin and grins at her. "Suppose we do," Zekk says as his eyes rake over her body again. "Definately shows a kriff of a lot more than your--
"Hey, what are these?" It's at this point he's tugging on the strands now hanging off his neck.

"Hey, it's not that Halloween again, right? Cause we don't think it is. That other girl over there," Zekk says, pausing to glance around the bar for Lucy, "said it was something called Mardi Gras."
