Ron's been around. Mostly cooped up with Harry and Hermione (Hermione especially, haha) but around.

However, today was one of the first days he felt social in a long while, and thus he'd come down read the notice, freaked accordingly, and sat at the bar.

Then he noticed that his tab had been paid off, and freaked over that, because when it came to money and the fact that he had none, he had a bit of a mental thing...

Bloody son of a...

"Faith!"

"Ron!"

Ah, mockery.

He was red in the face now.

"That wasn't funny, and I'm going to pay you back, just you watch," Ron threatened.

"With interest!" he threatened more.

Faith is calm. "Ron...I have no tab, I'm giving Helga Hufflepuff piano lessons, and my boyfriend is alien royalty. I'm fine for it. Really."

He crossed his arms and looked stubborn. "I'm still paying you back."

"Fine, if you insist."

She'll just use the money on somebody else.

He was satisfied though. Even if he had to pay her back in increments.

Speaking of which:

Proudly, "I got on Security! Well, I'm only in training, but still."

"Well, good for you!"

Faith beams, proudly.

"See, I knew all the violence would pay off."

"Now I can hit people all official-like!" Ron said with a laugh.

"I'm so proud. From here it's only a small step to Rodney King and a jury of your peers."

"Who?" Ron asked, raising his eyebrows.

"Long story."

Faith grins at him. "You did get the part where I'm teaching Helga Hufflepuff to play piano, right?"

Ron shrugged.

"I told you before that I met Slytherin. And honestly? The only way you could surprise me with this place was telling me that You-Know-Who turned up, the bar stuck him in a ballerina costume, and he decided to give up taking over the world to pursue his lifelong dream of dancing in the London Opera House."

Faith hits the floor laughing.

"Well it would surprise me," Ron said, smirking as he watched her laugh.

Faith flaps her hands at him, uselessly.

"...gonna tell Tom you said that..."

Ron went pink.

"Mind you, when I said 'You-Know-who' I didn't exactly mean Tom." A pause. "Though it does make for a funny mental picture, eh? Pink tulle--I wonder if Meg ever got him with a tutu..."

Faith convulses. Some more.

Ron kept gerinning. It faded a little, though, and he said, "Speaking of Tom...Hermione and I haven't exactly told Harry about him. He's a bit like the Erumpent in the middle of the room. I'm figuring we've gone on too long--he's bound to run into him on his own one of these days and that'd be...messy."

"...ah. Yeah." Faith winces. "Yeah, that could be...really bad."

"We have no idea how to go about it, but we figured it ought to be soon. He'll be mad enough we didn't mention it for so long," Ron said, scratching the back of his head.

"...do you want me to do it?"

Ron shook his head fervently.

"No, that'd be even worse. But if he wants to meet him, could you be there? Help us keep him from killing him or something?"

"Of course." Faith nods. "Just let me know."
