Lilah was here more recently than Faith probably realizes, but Fred doesn't know that. Few people do. So it sounds like a reasonable enough assumption, or at least one that Fred wants to believe enough to agree.

"I hope not, anyway. Though sometimes I wonder if there aren't worse things here than even Wolfram and Hart could dream up."

Fred's had a run in with one or two such things, and though she hasn't yet ever fully recognized them for what they were, she isn't oblivious.
