One CSI, one mug of coffee, one song ~~glory~~, and lots and lots of nervous frustration for all.

Hank wanders over with a drink, he hands her one and then settles withhis own opposirte her.

"Hello, gorgeous..."

She's working on the coffee right now, but alcohol is very, very gratefully accepted. "Hi, beautiful. Please, for the love of God, don't you dare start humming."

he clamps his hands over his mouth and grins at her, his eyes sparkling.

"Does that mean you dont love my singing voice?"

"Oh, was that it? I thought I heard dogs howling somewhere outside, glass breaking..."

he gasps at her, clutching his heart and groaning.

"Oh, the pain! Struck by such cruel arrows! Woe!"

He manages to fall over around the table and land his ehad in her lap... somehow.

She shoves him back into sitting position, flushing bright red. "On the bright side, you could always market it in recordings. I'm sure the Spanish Inquisition would've loved to have a copy..."

"You.... meanie!"

He pokes her gently in the side. The poke becomes a carress, and he leans over for a kiss.

"Missed you today, babe. How was work?"

"Meanie? That's the worst you can do?" She laughs into the kiss, gentling as she slips a hand around to knead the back of his neck gently, feeling the soreness there before pulling away. "It was all right--just lab work and processing, the boring stuff. Have you seen Sara or Gil?"

he shivers at ehr touch, as he has every time, and smiles.

"I think I saw Sara earlier, but I havent seen Gil around. I have been in and out back to Earth all day, thoug, so that isnt surprising."

He smiles at hertraciong that hand down her side gently, before laying it companionably, if intimately along her leg, not high enough to be improper in public, but there to let her know he cared.

"Still busy?" Her eyes are compassionate, her hand on his a gentle pressure.

He nods.

"Every day is like a couple of days put together. I grow ever more glad I know of this place, every day. The breaks every now and then and being able to come here and have time stop there... it makes life a lot easier."

He hugs her gently for a moment, burying his face in her hair and just... wanting to feel her, breathe her in.

"And I thank God every day for you."

She leans into that hug, burying her face in his shoulder. "I still can't really believe this is real, after all this," she says meditatively, her voice muffled. "We've been married for months and I've been here almost a year and I still wonder if the door will just--vanish one day..."

he shudders at that and holds onto her.

"Whatever happens, I will follow you, I will find you. I am not letting go of you, ever. You make my heart beat..."

He leans back a little to kiss her hair and her eyelids and her mouth then hugs her close again.

She rests her head against his chest for a moment, closing her eyes, before pulling away slightly. "I'll go wherever you go, I'll follow you to the ends of the universe. Just-- don't start singing again."

he grins at her and then nods.

"I will try. very hard. Honest."

he grins at her then and kisses her.

"And you do the same. No curses!"

"I don't happen to the curses, they happen to me," Catherine points out, returning the kiss anyways. "Stay with me tonight?"

He grins.

"Yes. Always."

he pulls her close again and kisses her.

"Have I told you lately that I love you, cause I do, my darling. I do."

"I think you mentioned it about five minutes ago, yes," she says dryly, lacing her fingers through his. "Come upstairs..."

He rises and pulls her up, then grins.

"After you, oh sweet lady. After you..."
