The front door opens and a goddess saunters in. Yes, saunters. She can do that, you know. And especially now, since it is hear favored season, and she's looking more radiant than ever. She may be busy back home, but there is always time to relax with a nice drink at the End of the Universe.

So there was a weary Giles that smiled at her.
"Eostre, it's been too long."
no subject
"Rupert!"
She grins up at him.
"True, alas. Though you are still here, and I am here now, and it is spring, and isn't it lovely?"
no subject
"Indeed it is," Definite appreciative glance at her, "Always lovely, yes."
no subject
"Silly boy..."
She's still grinning though, she doesn' mind the attention.
"That is good news though, what have you been doing with yourself since then, hm?"
no subject
"Well, things have been quiet, though a spot of trouble back home." Then there were strains of music again. Oh God, not now.
Yet he ended up singing anyway.
"Demons are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup,
They slither wildly as they slip away across the Hellmouth.
Pools of blood, waves of screams are drifting through the opened world,
Possessing and distressing all.
Jai guru deva om
Something's gonna change my world,
Something's gonna change my world.
Something's gonna change my world.
Something's gonna change my world.
Beings of deepest dark which call before me like a million lies,
They call me on and on across the Milliways,
Evil meander like a restless storm inside my opened mind
It tumbles blindly as it makes its way
Across the Milliways
Jai guru deva om
Something's gonna change my world,
Something's gonna change my world.
Something's gonna change my world.
Something's gonna change my world."
He then facepalmed as he admitted, "Er... as I said, it hasn't been good mostly. A curse from my world's here obviously."

Easter's eyes widen and she covers her mouth to keep from laughing. No really, it's not funny.
"Um... At least it isn't ABBA?"
She reaches to take his hand.
"Poor dear, what a curse."
no subject
"It's worse. People feel compelled to tell their secrets in song, and dance, and then the curse worsens until they dance themselves into flames. A few had burned to death the last time this curse had shown up. And that was only because it occured in a small town, and we were able to stop him before it got worse."
At least, we thought we had stopped it.
no subject
"Oh no..."
She opens and closes her mouth a few times before she can find any more words.
"What did you do last time you encountered it? Is it, um, contagious?"
no subject
He nodded, "Contagious in that anyone who can be affected by this particular demon's presence will be, and might burst into song at any moment." He cleared his throat some.
"...as was demonstrated just now."
no subject
"Then we'll just have to figure out a way to convince it to leave again."
She looks somewhat concerned, she isn't certain whether or not she can be affected by it or not.
no subject
He added with a dark and strange light in his eyes, "I think it might take more than just mere convincing this time."
no subject
"Well, if there is anyplace that can help you get what you need, who you need to help, it is this one."
She tugs on his hand a little, she wants a closer look at that dark flash.
"I have every confidance."
no subject
Giles blinked, and it was gone again in the depths of his blue eyes.
He then smiled with some gratitude, and now the grip on her hand was considerably less, light and comfortable, "I know, have more people here to help as well."
no subject
Still gone before she can identify it, if she ever could have. It may be something to worry over.
"If I can do anything, let me know, won't you?"
no subject
Giles nodded, and gave her a warm smile, "Of course, thank you."
no subject
"Any time. I do what I can."
Which is more right now than at other times, but still not as much as she used to be able to do.
no subject
He gave a warm smile of appreciation at her.
"So how are you? Besides happy with everything coming into full bloom?" He then realized that could be taken the wrong way.
no subject
She grins again, and reaches to push his hair back a little.
"Busy. But that rather goes with the whole being in full bloom thing."
no subject
"Of course, this is your time, and must have much to do now."
no subject
"Not so much that I can't still have a little fun, my dear."
She smiles up at him, brushing her thumb across their joined hands.
"Never too busy for that."
no subject
Giles remarked, and leaned over to gently kiss her.
no subject
She slides her hands up to lace behind his neck and leans into the kiss. No, never too busy for that.
no subject
After a few moments, he broke away to remark, "Perhaps we should continue this conversation elsewhere?"
no subject
"Hmm... You read my mind."
He's stressed, maybe if he asks nicely, she'll even give him a bit of a massage...

There's another being relaxing. Or at least drinking. Water if anyone wants to know, though the rainbows that sheet through the liquid don't help identify it.
How does Wish look to another Being? Perhaps it doesn't matter, as Wish seems absorbed in the leaves she has in her hand, strangely blue with sheeting sparkles..but obviously Ash leaves.
One is in her water.
no subject
Easter is a curious woman, and Wish is a curious looking person. Lovely and somewhat wistful. Though perhaps it is the leaves that caught her attention first. She watches for a few minutes before speaking softly.
"Hello there."
no subject
"Hello, Eostre" she offered. It was one of her parlor tricks, knowing names.
no subject
Easter quirks a smile at the girl, she is lovely indeed.
"You have the advantage of me, I fear."
Some things she knows, others have escaped her for some time.
no subject
"You wish you were still what you once were...is it so terrible, who you are now?" she asked curiously, then her eyes meet Eostre's fully. Eostre knows her.
Everyone does really, given a chance to admit it to themselves.
no subject
She knows her, yes. Perhaps it is what is left of what she once was that makes her a bit more aware of the fact. She nods.
"It is not so terrible, I am far better off than most of my kind. Some.. Some never could adjust."
no subject
She lives among worse though.
If live is the term.
Her hand reaches up, tucking an Ash leaf in Eostre's hair.
no subject
Easter smiles, reaching up to touch the leaf in her hair.
"Time moves on, and so must we. Some of them couldn't accept that either. I would just like to be remembered for a while longer."
She eyes the other
"And what of you?"
no subject
"You are remembered" she noted. "Especially here." she grinned, tapping Eostre's lips with a finger "Beautiful."
"I grant"
no subject
"That is why I like it here."
The leaf almost sings, it is comforting. Easter approves. She nods once, smiling sadly.
"I know."
no subject
No willingness to pay cost.
Yes, it can sing if Easter wants it to. She'd like Maple no doubt.
"And it seems I waner in here as well" she noted with a chuckle. "So many people here who never forgot how to dream..."
no subject
"Perhaps it helps that He comes here as well."
She fingers the leaf again, thinking.
"People out there do seem to want everything simply handed to them. I wonder that no one ever told them that such things are far more satisfying if they are worked for at least a little."
no subject
...but she has Maple.
"Yes, satisfyng, with far more meaning. The people are hollow now...ghosts." she mused quietly.
no subject
"Or shells. Husks that don't know what to do with their souls. Maybe it is because there are so many more of them than there were once."
no subject
Of course there still were in Nightside, but Wish didn't restrict herself to tha single, soul stealing area.
"Though perhaps they are more like seeds that empty husks...no sun to awaken them anymore"
