It had been a while since he'd first arrived, and the door wasn't in the same place as it had been previously, so White is certainly surprised when he walks into what the thinks is an office and finds himself in Milliways. After a moment of startled blinking, his lips curve into a smile that, while somewhat satisfied, holds no warmth. He looks over the room, almost certainly searching for something or someone in particular.
He doesn't find it. This annoys him, but only a little. That would be almost too easy.
Care to help the man find what he's looking for?Or hinder him, which is fun for his mun.

"Morning."

The bewilderment mixed with mild disgust is likely rather familiar, one would imagine. Were he from Hank's world, White would be...
Well, probably a member of the Brotherhood, actually. But still.

He's staring at the wait rat. He hadn't seen them last time.

"They are wait rats, sentient rats which serve as the wait staff here. They are quite clean and harmless."

He gives Hank another once-over, more assessing this time. Older than one of them would be, I think, unless they cooked up something with a higher age rate. More exotic, too.
...Maybe that crazy bitch was telling the truth about other worlds?

he turns towards the man.
"New here?"
no subject
"Yes. This is only my second time here, and I didn't see anything this out of the ordinary on my first visit." His eyes narrow faintly as he studies Hank. "...Subspecies? In what manner?"
Uh-oh. Interest piqued. Run away!

"My world sports a growing number of humans born with a mutant dna strand, an x-factor that is uncontrollable and that always manifests differently, creating a rwace that is known colloquially as mutants. I am one of them."

...He isn't sure whether to be relieved or disappointed, actually.

"There are few enough here who are from my world. There do seem to be at least a couple of hundred Earths and a dozen or so other planets represented here."
no subject
"Interesting." He's not certain he buys it, but it's still interesting.
"A pity, though. It would make it very easy for someone to hide here."
no subject
"I am sure that people could hide here if they want. As far as I know, nothing forces anyone to leave here, unless you manage to break the rules."
no subject
"Well, then. You might have a problem here." There's no smug smile, no hint of duplicity.
no subject
He raises an eyebrow.
"Why is that?"
no subject
See? Obvious.
