I'm really tired. Something threw me off. I don't know why I'm here, but back home it was four in the morning, and I feel like four in the morning. I've managed to be swept away once again without normal (well, they're not really normal, but..) clothes. I'm in my pajamas, Led Zeppelin shirt, boxer shorts, and green slippers I brought for 99 cents. A seat at the bar, green tea, and a chopstick to put up my hair.
Anything I'm leaving out?

"Hey."
no subject
"What is... in your hair?"
She looks curiously at the chopstick.
no subject
"Uh...just a chopstick."
no subject
then she remembers her manners.
"I am sorry. I am... new here to human things. My name is Teyfera."
no subject
I hand her the other chopstick. They come attached.
"Is fine. Wendy."
no subject
She looks at it and nods, then hands it back.
"Nice to meet you Wendy. I have never seen clothes like that."
Teyfera is wearing a cloak which mostly hides the fact that she wears a mostly see-through set of silken tunic and pants.

"I know little of humans, but am trying to learn. I am Irda. "
Her body ripples as a picutre on the tv going wonky and then it shifts... and her skin and hair and eyes are all a startling blue-green color. And the skin looks slightly off, not human.
"Pajamas... I have heard of those."
no subject
"Yeah, I usually don't where them outside my apartment, but the bathroom door took me unexpectedly. So...pajamas."
no subject
"Makes sense. Why do you stay though?"
no subject
"Once I'm awake, like exposed to light. I'm awake. Why bother going right back? At least here I can relax, back home I'd be getting ready for my first job of the day, which is a pain in the ass."
no subject
She smiles a bit.

I smile.
no subject
"Ah... 2?"
no subject
"Ok...that would be painting. Apartments, buildings, interiors. Not Bad."
no subject
She shifts slightly smiling, watching this other woman.
"3?"

She settles more, smiling, her eyes turning a darker green.

Teyfera smiles as she shifts into the green again.
"You sound like you lead an interesting life."
Teyfera was rather sheltered.
no subject
I smile. Because yeah, now my life is interesting and I'm finally happy. So....
no subject
Then she smiles, biting her lip.
"You have a lovely smile."
no subject
I shrug.
"Thanks, I guess."
no subject
And she smiles still.
"You are welcome. It lights up your face."
no subject
"No offense taken."
"So...you?"
no subject
She shares a small smile.
"But I did enjoy it."

She mocks an older man's voice.
"Change this into that. Make this mud into cement. Line up those patterns into vials. Snap it up, Teyfera."
She shakes her head.
"I enjoyed the magic, but... it was mostly just drudge work."
She grins at Wendy.
"I would much rather be at a Novelty store, with all the things!"

"Would you... like to see some? It isnt very impressive, but I could show you a little?"
She looks uncertain.

She hums softly for amoment and then simulataneously pours out a stream of water, tosses something like dust from the bag, and speaks a few words in a strange twisty language.
In midair, the dust and water change and shift and become a glass wren, small, but fairly well formed.
Teyfera slumps back, a little sweat on her brow and nods.
no subject
I smile.
no subject
"Absolutely. A pretty bird for a pretty woman."
She nods.
no subject
I get up, the bird in my hand and walk out the door, back home.
