There's a vampire on a couch over there. Not by the fire, but on that's a little more shadowed. And, like his icon, he's watching the bar from his lazy post.
He hasn't been in the bar very much, but he's in now. And, if he's staring at you, well there's usually a reason.

::It's out of the way, and frankly, out of the morass. Care to join me?:: she offered politely. It's in her nature to offer.

He swings into a sitting position, and tilts his head at her. 'How does that work with me not having that kind of power?'

::If you say yes, you fly?::

There's a small pause, because this should be interesting. 'Yes.'

The response is immediate, gravity seeming to start ignoring him. Gentle, almost ticklish energy singing along the skin, and warmth. Warmth to seep into the bones and marrow...

He rubs a hand along his arm, the energy feeling a little odd. And, he slowly starts the process of trying to join her. It's slow because his mind is working around what he's doing and trying to fight the logic of it.

It's more respect to him than ignoring...everyone desreves to learn things without others observing strange mistakes...though, yes, thinking too hard about it seems to get in the way.

'I gather it gets easier to do with practice?'

Like breaking through a wall, there will be a hole to slip through each time, limitation-wise.
"Welcome to the ceiling."

"I think outside the normal bounds on most things, but this is something I never though possible."
That is an interesting way to think of it.
He gives a small bow of his head. "Thank you for inviting me."

"Most things being?" she asked curiously, tilted her head...and not at all thrown off by how her braid dangled over an eye for a moment...
no subject
"Shape shifting, telepathic abilities, vampires, immortality. Most things."
no subject
"Wow, you could visit my home and not end up shell shocked, congratulations" she chuckled warmly. He has left off a few of the major ones though, like fire breathing, flying, timeslipping...

"Tekes, 'Paths, Empaths, pyros, hydros..." do you wish to know more?
Probably not.

"That's incredible. The flavor of being in my world are mostly vampire. The abilities range depending on the lineage of the vampire that changed you. And then there are the witches that hunt us."

"Vampire?" there's a strange sensation, sadness obviously not his....it leaves a taste like rain on the tongue, and has shadows moving through the flame of her eyes.
It's momentary though.
"A whole world? Everyone I've heard of with vampires there's very few of them..."
[Alas, is slowtime possible? Midnight shift is catching up with me...]

There's a small lick of his lips at the taste, slightly puzzled by it.
"The whole world isn't made of of vampires. Gods, there'd be nothing to eat. But, we're a big enough group to create our own cities in small areas.
[Slowtime is always possibly. As proven with the Khem-plotage stuff. ^_~]

"Mutants did much the same, they had Genosha until the humans bombed it...normally, the sranger things are targetted when they group"
no subject
"Humans can be troublesome when they can't leave well enough alone. Are the mutants of your world quite known about to the mass public then?"
