The Steward of Gondor is in the bar tonight, doing what one generally does in a bar:

Drink.

He seems... curiously blank tonight. Neither in a good mood or a bad. Simply... somewhat detatched. Deep in thought. Daydreamy.

Security badge is, as usual, clipped to his belt and in plain view.

Lost in thought he may be, but he always welcomes company.

"And yet they do have power," he says, disapproving as his father was of any shortcoming in himself. Though with understandable double-standard, he sees this as no shortcoming in anybody ELSE.

"Well, yes. But let me congratulate you and welcome you to the human race," she says with an edge of snark.

"No one is infallible. Frankly, as odd as it sounds, if there were no ill effects from the horrors you and I have seen, I would worry about that as well."

Faramir considers this.

And finally chuckles. "You've won, my dear lady. And I'm glad of it. I always have been too melancholy; it is nice to hear that sometimes that is acceptible." He smiles at her. "I am glad to have shared your company tonight. It has been far too long."

"It has," she says with an answering smile. "I'll try not to be so much a stranger."
