Molly is barefoot as she pads down the stairs. She had told Cain where she was going, but wasn't sure he'd really heard her... he'd been immersed in a book, and had made one of those "mmmhmmm" noises that could mean anything.
But craving for tea and biscuits cannot be denied, so she orders a tray from Bar, and finds a table within view of the stairs. If he should happen to notice her missing, he'll be able to find her easily enough.
She nibbles an oatmeal biscuit as sits and people watches. Maybe she's watching you?

"MMMMMNnn?"
no subject
"What are you reading that's so fascinating?"
She swears that he must have read just about every book in their rooms by now. She wouldn't be surprised if he'd actually read one or two of her textbooks... he seemed to be absorbing everything he could get his hands on to read.

He sips his coffee anc clears his throat, then kisses her.
"Love you."
no subject
"Love you."
She says it quietly, her eyes smiling into his. It's a bit of a chore to tear her eyes away and keep herself from acting too lovestruck. She nods to the book.
"Are you finding anything interesting in it?"
no subject
"The whole thing is interesting. I am sure I will have questions when I have read more of it. I love to know about your world, your life. I want to be a part of all of it and that means... that means I need to feel it, you know? be able to fit in as much as I can, anyway."
no subject
"I hadn't considered that, really. I mean, it's great that you want to know more about my world, but I just assumed that it would be the other way around. Me needing to learn more about your world... since it seems like that's where you have to spend the majority of your time."
no subject
He smiles softly at her.
"I love you, Molly, and I want to be a part of everything that is your life."
no subject
"I have a feeling both of us are going to have a very interesting time, learning to bridge the gap between our worlds. It should be fun, don't you think?"
She tries to picture him in wizard's robes, walking through Diagon Alley with her... it's a strangely comforting thought. And she can easily picture herself in Muggle clothes, walking with him in his world. She's been there before, after all.
She never even missed using her magic while she was there with him.
no subject
"That sounds like fun. I cant wait to see what your world is like..."
He grins mischieviously.
"I want to see it all!"
no subject
She tries to think like a Muggle who's never experienced the magic world before. What would she want to see or hear or taste or do?
no subject
"The place that makes you most happy."
The answer comes without much thought, really.
no subject
"That place isn't in my world."
no subject
"Huh?"
Eloquence, eh?
no subject
It simple, and true.
no subject
"Love you, baby. Love you lots."
He kisses hber some more, before pulling back and grinning.
"I feel the same way. Maybe we will make this our home someday? If we cant choose one world, why not choose them all?"
no subject
The insecure corner deep inside of her hopes that he'll still feel the same if and when he gets his memory back.
"You mean juggle homeworlds? That would be something, wouldn't it? Use Milliways as a home base, of sorts?"
no subject
"Exactly. If this curse keeps me walking, why not walk on my Earth, then come back here, and pick a world, see if we can get there and wander there? Wander on yours too, to compare worlds..."
He grins, almost bouncy.
no subject
She's willing to follow him anywhere. Which world they are on isn't as important to her as being with him. She doesn't know how much choice they'll really be given, but it doesn't matter, in the long run.
no subject
"As long as I am with you, it will be amazing."
He grins then and glances around, flagging down a wait rat.
"How are you feeling tonight?"
no subject
She chooses another biscuit and refills her tea.
"I think I may not have to see a healer, after all."
She shrugs, somewhat relieved, but not all that happy.
"I guess all of the excitment and trauma and everything else just threw my cycle off."
no subject
"This is a good thing, yes?"
He nods.
"I am just glad you are okay."
no subject
She shrugs off the tiniest bit of sadness that she shouldn't even be feeling at knowing for sure that she isn't pregnant.
"I'll be fine, though I'll probably be uncomfortable fore a couple of days."
no subject
But he smiles and nods.
"Anythign I can do?"
no subject
"Just don't make me mad, and no one will get hurt."
She puts a hand on his cheek.
"There's nothing, love. Nature will take it's course, I'll take the potion I made the other night, and life will go back to what passes for normal around here."
It might be noted that she's eaten nearly an entire plateful of biscuits by now.
no subject
"You want anything, love?"
no subject
"Guess I should get something at least pretending to be healthy. Pasta?"
She nods at the thought. She's suddenly ravenous.
"Definitely pasta."
no subject
He grins at her and kisses her lightly.
"You are cute, you know that?"
no subject
She scoots over more to cuddle against him.
She stares pensively at the front door of the bar for a few moments. She hasn't tried opening it in weeks, now.
In en effort to shake off some of the guilt she feels at that, she promises herself that she'll check it soon.
"How have your lessons with Alia been going? I've noticed that you seem energetic and you've remembered small things, like how to read and write in other lanuages and the bits of songs I hear you singing from time to time. Have you nothiced any other benefits so far?"
no subject
"Not really. Just a growing sense of centeredness, an ability to move better, and a grace that seems to be growing, slowly. NBothing really memory oriented."
he smiles sheepishly.
"Nothing major seems to be coming back."
no subject
She means it.
"If it does, it does. If it doesn't... we build from there. You were graceful before. Maybe your body is remembering things, even if your mind isn't quite catching on as quickly."
no subject
"Thank you. And I hope so..."
he visibly drags himself to other thoughts.
"Met any other interestiung people?"
no subject
"Does a not-a-horse-that-talks-into-your-brain count? I met one of those the other morning while I was working out in the gardens. I don't think I told you about it."

Molly smiles at the confused look on his face.
"I was more than a little startled. She was nice, though. Not from Earth."
no subject
"o--kay. Huh... I guess anythign and anyone can wander in here. And telepathy? That must come in handy."
no subject
Molly tries to remember the confusing conversation.
"Or maybe it was the separation that caused the trauma. At any rate, they've been reunited, so that's good, I suppose."
no subject
"Reunion is always good."
He grins at her.
"Say... what are you doing tomorrow?"
no subject
"I don't have any plans, as such. What did you have in mind?"
no subject

She turns and takes their plates from the waitrat as it arrives, and sets them on the table.
"After we eat, we can go back upstairs and look for something that will work. But for now? Let's eat!"
