Ramon comes down the stairs into the main bar. If anyone were to ask, he'd explain that he stayed here last night - which would be a lie. He's just made another delivery to Jack.
Business out of the way, he collects breakfast and a paper and heads into a booth to have a relaxing start to the day.
[OOC: Not plotlocked, he's open for threads with anyone.]

He picks up his coffee, folds his paper and wanders over.
'You look like shit. What's up?'

'Drink enough and you'll sleep.'
He'd offer to give him a pill to help him out there, under normal cirumstances - but he doesn't want the kid to know he's got easy ways of drugging people close at hand.
'The girl left you? I didn't think you'd be the type to sit around and mope about it - go and get her to come back.'
no subject
"She didn't leave me. Got taken." He snorts. "Stupid girls."
no subject
'They're generally more trouble than they're worth. Who took her?'
no subject
"No wonder she was so easy. Her family doesn't fucking care."
no subject
So he shrugs and says, 'I think you're wrong about that. They do care. Kim was drunk?'
He would have liked to have seen that, it'd be funny.
no subject
"Yeah. Drunk and whining about how she couldn't do anything and shouldn't be here." He looks over at Ramon. "She always like that? She seemed decent enough when I talked to her before."
no subject
'Decent? She's a little bitch. I've never seen her drunk but I don't see her that often. Maybe it's normal, I don't know.'
no subject
"Annoying, is what it was. I mean, if someone took my daughter I'd probably get drunk, but I'd also fucking do something about it."
no subject
And would, he has no doubt. Of course, Kim would just get Jack to do the work for her but that's fine by him.
'Her father wasn't with her? He's normally somewhere about - he's probably the one doing the looking.'
no subject
He sighs again. "Now I'm gonna have to get involved and fuck. Stupid girls."

Picks it up again, ignoring as best she can.

Going to be a good day, he feels.

Starts again.
Stops.
Damn. This is awkward. He's managed to get himself flagged as 'enemy' in her mind, which means every instinct is screaming at her to run. Or fight. Or both.
Starts again.

He turns the paper to the sprot pages. Damn. Porto lost on the weekend. He makes a mental note to not bother sending them an anonymous donation next season.

I don't particularly want to fight. I'm not apologizing, either. But you damn well knew what you were getting into when you brought up that subject.
It's not signed. But it's done in nice calligraphy with a quill pen.
no subject
You dont want to fight, you shouldn't have hit me. Twice.
...maybe you should get yourself a food taster.
Yes, he knew what he as getting into when he brought that subject up. That's why he does things like that. People lose control and he laughs - and then has the perfect excuse to get revenge. See how nicely that works?
no subject
Wanted to fight then. Not as much now. And how the hell would you be able to poison food if I get it from Bar?
Works nicely, yes. And she loses control so easily.
no subject
If you can't work it out, I'm hardly going to tell you, am I?
And I'm not writing notes across the bar like a fucking teenage girl. You want to talk, come over.
no subject
"I am a teenage girl, Ramon."
no subject
He says it without looking up from his paper. Supremely unconcerned.
no subject
Because that? Would be scary.
"Posion for vampires is different then poison for people."
no subject
His tone is still mild.
'For one thing, it's more of the citrus variety.'
He hadn't been talking about merely poisoning her.
