Harold's in the woods.
There's a bunch of bushes and trees and underbrush and it's a miracle Snowball's fur hasn't gotten completely tangled.

He's pretty much hidden from view, although since Snowball's white she's probably not.

He takes it and fiddles with it.

"You com help me?"

PRue nods, "That's right. There is nowhere on any world in any time that I won't be able to hear your call." yes very powerful spell. She spent all weekend on it.

"Special shiny," he says seriously. He puts it in his overall pocket with his crayon.
Now he has two things that he'll guard more or less with his life.

Well Prue would hope that it wouldn't come to that and really if it was a choice between the two she would rather his life.

Prue smiles "Yes." and gives him a hug.

If it came right down to it, it'd be his life..although he'd have a much harder time giving up his crayon.
Still, he values help and people he thinks he can trust very much right now.

"T'ank.
You dood." He nods firmly.

"Your welcome." smilomg, "Would you like to play?" she moves her hands and Speaks this time there are more lights and of even move different colors.

He gasps and reaches out to touch them.
His eyes sparkle.

Prue smiles and keeps them going and letting them move around him. She lets him catch them as he pleases but on occasion letting him chase one for a while.

Harold squees. He's gotten up and is twirling around in the lights and even Snowball is trying to bite a one or two of the pretty colors.
He claps his hand trying to catch the lights, and wrinkles up his nose as one passes by.

It helps warm her heart watching Harlod. This is what she needs to try and distract herself from what she just witnessed.

Harold stands outside of the colors and then sticks his face in and his face wrinkles up and he shakes his head, as if they tickle. He giggles and runs away from them.

Prue moves them about and has them gently chase him as she believes it's what he wants.

It's because she's perceptive that way.

He gleeees and laughs and then runs back through them.

The lights have now begun to change colors for him. One moment a bubble of light will be green and the next it will be blue and another will be red and turn purple.

Harold SQUEES, absolutely delighted. He does a happy dance in the middle of the lights, and then grinning wide he runs to Prue and gives her a huge 'I love you so much you're the bestest person in the whole widest world' little boy hug.

Prue returns the hug with a genuine smile. All the Doom temporarily forgotten.

Little boys and magic are a good mix for things like that.
