He makes a couple of quick additions to the Specials Board and then announces:

"Tonight's drinks are; Gentleman's Club , Gila Monster, Gingerbread Man #2 and Godchild .."

"What'll it be?"

"From the twisted recesses of my mind, generally..." he drawls. "That. And boredom."

He grins at her.

"Evening, Delia."

"Can I get you a drink?"

Of course! Gentleman's Club.

"As my lady commands."

He fills the glass with ice cubes and starts adding the ingredients.

As he stirs he asks, "How are you? I've seen hide nor hair of you these past few weeks.."

Courtesan and Accountant, until Lilly finds someone else.

Raised eyebrow. "Reaaaaaaaally."

"That's all I get?" he groans theatrically.

"Enquiring minds - well really this mind in particular," he amends ".. want to know more.."

Penelope grins.

"Hmm ... I wonder what the theme could be tonight."

"A few months gone mean I can press my luck, or am I still restricted to apple juice?"

"Theme?" he asks innocently. "What theme?"

He laughs.

"Details, Delia! Details. You know I secretly thrive on any and all information. And what better way to acquire it than through gossip?"

He winks at her.

".. Unless there is something you're not comfortable sharing of course."

"Evening, Kon. Lets see shall we?"

A pause.

And a glass of apple juice appears on the bar.

George says nothing.

..The grin says it all really.

"Man," Kon says, "I ain't ever gonna get to try alcohol."

Well. Try more than one sip, anyway.

"Things I can do without, I think," Penelope quips, taking a seat. She sets down her quite-large bag on the floor beside her and crosses her legs at the ankle.



... Look, Penelope isn't strictly opposed to godchildren-- but nor is she in favor.

Gila monsters, gingerbread, and gentlemen's clubs, however, can all go hang.

"..well, you're from Earth aren't you? So you could always go to .. what's the name of that country again.." he thinks for a moment, ".. Canada? I hear their legal drinking age is 19." He drawls.

Well. That was entirely unexpected.

[Though really, it shouldn't have been..]

And it causes him to laugh out loud.

"..you have a bias against Gingerbread men?" he asks, raising an eyebrow.

"Dare I even ask?"

He does his best Thom impression mock-scowls at her.

"You're a mean thing.. you know that don't you?"

He passes her drink over the bar.

Penelope pats her stomach self-consciously.

It should be noted that said stomach is perfectly all right, a fact that she will sheepishly agree to if pressed.

"They're not terribly good for you, you know," she informs him.
