(no subject)

The woods are a pretty sweet setup, really- they're kinda away from the bar, not a whole lot of people go there, except the occasional Dude Sparring in the Clearing or Werewolves (who, at the time, don't usually count as people, at least in the Monster's eyes).

Thus, there is one hideous monstrosity kickin' back out in the wilderness, enjoying a lack of company.

"Crafted for me."

She says with the faintest of blushes on her living cheek,

"That I might have flowers even in Niflheim."

"He is."

She says quietly,

"Baldur, he is one of the gods but...not like the others."

"They banished me, dear, for this."

She holds up her gloved hand, points to the dead side of her face,

"They threw my oldest brother into the ocean, and my other one they chained under the Bifrost bridge, and me they threw down the world tree."

"No, they really aren't."

She touches him again, lightly, and says quietly,

"They will pay. At Ragnarok they will all die. It is written, my father will punish them for what they have done."

Her father. Her brothers. Herself. Odin wrote his own destruction when he went after Loki's children.

Loki isn't much of a parent. A master of revenge? Yeah. He's good at that. Hel, however, would never admit that her father sucked at being a father. She's a daddy's girl, and always, always will be,

"He loves us."

She says quietly,

"And we will have our part in it as well. I can wait, and now I have Baldur as well. So my waiting is not empty."

She smiles down at him again and says,

"This is my home. Niflheim is just where I wait. I have many friends here, I think."

She counts him as one of them; even if they speak but rarely.
