(no subject)

There's quite a bit of sniffling coming from one of the booths.

There's a boy curled up in the back of said booth, looking rather disgruntled and tearstained.

And pissy.

He's usually pissy.

sniffle sniffle

He's been there all day, it's bordering on rediculous.

He was really leaving.

Really. But then there was a sad looking boy.

So he walks over, sitting some distance away. "Would you like some tea?"

Lawrence is a sneaky, sneaky man.

"British, or ..." He waves his hand. He might offer a small smile.

"All right."

Perfectly fine with Lawrence. He motions for a waitrat and orders - a cup of English for himself, and green tea for the young man.

"Biscuit?"

A small nod.

The waitrat comes back with a tray of cookies and the cups of tea.

"I'm afraid I have to be going, actually - after my tea."

"You're welcome. Do feel better, hm?"

He sips his own quietly.

"I give out tea and biscuits, not sympathy."

He's sneakier about that. Maybe.

Lawrence nods.

He's never been much on figures of speech. "I think so."

He's finished up with his tea, so he begins to stand. "If you would please excuse me.."
