There's a Mercutio in the bar, picking stable dirt from underneath his fingernails and irritatedly brushing his dripping hair away from his eyes. Today was a swimming day.

"Huh."

Mercutio's eyes are wide.

Charlie almost smiles. "Where do you need me to start explaining? The invisible or the possession? Or the boyfriend? I've told you about Darien, haven't I?"

"I think you have succinctly conveyed the pertinent information."

Mercutio grins.

"Although the 'boyfriend' is terribly disappointing."

Charlie grins and shrugs. "His name's Darien," is all he says.

"I shall keep an ear out."

Mercutio scratches the back of his neck.

"Summer is on its way."

"'Tis. I hope there's another Midsummer's Party--it was fun last year."

"I was not here last year - do tell."

He grins.

"Well, there was a lot of food and games and swimming and such, and there was a bonfire after sunset. It's a seasonal feast, yeah? Height of summer and all?"

"Aye, of course. I expected something a little more scandalous, however. Emotions run high at midsummer."

He laughs.

"At least, where I come from."

"Well, the god who put it together wanted everybody to have sex in the woods after."

He sips his tea.

"More like it! And did everybody?"

"Well, I can't speak for everybody, but my on was got, as I recall."

"I salute you."
