Tom walks in from the House of Arch to leave two notes in the bar. One is for Draco and one is for Salazar Slytherin. In the main text of Draco's letter, Tom asks Draco to do some specific research in Salazar's library in lieu of coming to the House of Arch library. In Salazar's, he asks if this favor might be possible, as he could use the help.
However, both also contain a brief summary of what's happened in the House of Arch, but that text is magically hidden from anyone but the person intended to read it.
Despite this fact, he whispers "Take care no one else sees these." to Bar as he pats her wood surface. He looks tired and strained as he ducks back into the House.
