No dramatic entrance for her, not today. She's just sitting at a table in a dark corner, quietly sipping a glass of red wine.

Audrey glances around the room, spotting a woman with a glass of red wine.

She takes a sip of her own wine.

Red eyes her, sips her own wine.

Audrey wonders if she should try to be more friendly, but there's something vaguely unnerving about the woman's return look.

Her eyes glint orange in the light of the candles on the table. Her eyes never leave Audrey's.

Audrey resists the urge to blink, because there's no way that this woman's eyes are that color. She glances down at the glass of wine, wondering how much she's had.

Red smiles quielty to herself, a small victory. She always wins in staring contests.

Audrey didn't realize it was a contest, looking back up to see that the woman's eyes did not change color.

She takes another sip of wine.

She is being watched by another redhead from across the room. Watched, and measured. There's nothing angry or confrontational in the gaze, however.

Give it time.

Red feels her eyes, she turns to her nods her head to the chair across from her: an invitation.

An invitation, perhaps, but it grates on Alanna like an order. Standing, she kicks in her chair and saunters over as if she hasn't a care in the world. On the way, she stops a wait rat and orders her own red wine, pointing to Red's table.

She sits down with a grunt, straddling the chair so she'll have somewhere to rest her arms. Or somewhere to dig her fingernails.

"What a manly display of chair kicking that was," she says coolly.

"One has to keep up appearances," comes the light reply.

"Of course," she agrees just as light.

*and slips into a chair across from her, smiling and wearing an expensive-looking new silk shirt*

"What do you want?" She asks flatly.

"You're smiling. You never smile. You want something."

Parker sits, glances at the wine and orders beer from a waitrat.

"Red," he greets.

"How're tricks?"

"Shouldn't I be the one to ask you that?"

"Yeah, but I asked you first, Red." He takes his firs sip of beer and sighs happily.
