Morwen comes in the front door, meaning to see if Telemain's still around somewhere. (And whether his spirit of scientific investigation's had the better of him yet, but don't tell him. He probably knows anyway.)
But first, cider.
But first, cider.

Muttering under his breath as he orders apple after apple. He has five now, each time examining something else. He even has a number of instruments out, and is now holding something metallic over an apple.
Because wow.
no subject
But even as she says it, she suspects that's not it.
no subject
The metal something goes BING.
And an apple appears.
no subject
It's fond exasperation, but it's exasperation nonetheless.

Child at Christmas.
no subject
Really, she's not sure he needs it now, but it probably had to happen sometime.
no subject
Not really. But.
"First thing it did this morning was give me a plate of food. So it not only takes requests, it meddles. Would you care for an apple?"
no subject
Rather than answering the question, she just takes one of the apples. "So I'm not the only one trying to make sure you eat and sleep enough to stay upright."
no subject
No, no one's explained the sentience thing to him.
Step right up, folks. Once in a life time experience to see a magician burst from excitement!
no subject
"The bar is apparently sentient. From what I've gathered, that wasn't the original intent of the spell, but it happened anyway."
no subject
Well, it's not often that he's speechless, but she's managed it.
no subject
"Something you hadn't taken into account, I take it?"
no subject
In an absurd moment, he lowers one hand to gently trace down the side of the bar, touching for the sake of it.
"Accidental sentience?"
This is a man who loves what he does, and in this moment he's caught off guard by the strageness and beauty of it.

He's been watching. Between apples.

He's aware that it's not quite the same thing.
"I woke rather later than I expected to."
no subject
"Somehow, I'm not surprised."
no subject
He won't mention that he still hasn't found a door. Or that it's bothering him.
"They can wait."
no subject
...Not that he'd go home if it were there. He'd be too busy analyzing Bar anyway.
no subject
No, that's what's keeping him calmer.
But the sensation of being trapped isn't a pleasant one, even if he enjoys the cage just now. He puts it out of his mind anyways. He can try using magic later. When he's a little steadier on his feet.
"It hasn't seen fit to keep you, has it?"
no subject
Well, other than the exhaustion bit.
no subject
Her door is fairly tame, compared to some of his inventions he's got rattling around his home.
no subject
no subject
Pause.
"You think?"
A woman as neat as (and with as many cats as) her?
no subject
Also, the mun needs to reread the bit that lists off everything there.
no subject
Wouldn't put it past those things though.
no subject
Whether they act on it is another thing. And beside the point.
(OOC: Slowtime/fade? I need to get to bed soonish.)
no subject
Tell me about the forest where you live? It's been too long since I was there."
[ooc: fade on this works?]
no subject
But rather than say as much, she sets about answering his request.
(OOC: And we're faded. yay thread!)
