re-entrance post
From here: The Door opens, revealing a rainstorm, and out of it stumble two drenched but laughing figures. They Skid to the floor and lay laughing and kissing each other for a long moment before, suddenly, one of them looks up.
His eyes widen.
"Molly... we're back. We're back at Milliways!"
The woman looks up and a soft smile crosses her face.
"We made it."
Then the two grin and go back to kissing.
Cain and Molly have returned to Milliways, wet, tired, and happy.
His eyes widen.
"Molly... we're back. We're back at Milliways!"
The woman looks up and a soft smile crosses her face.
"We made it."
Then the two grin and go back to kissing.
Cain and Molly have returned to Milliways, wet, tired, and happy.

"This is unexpected."
She's still holding that ring box.
no subject
"We're home."
no subject
"We are! This beats a being caught in a rainstorm all night, doesn't it?"
She shrugs out of her pack and stretches. It's good to be back.
"What do you think? A meal or a drink before heading upstairs?"
They've been gone for two months or so, a little longer won't hurt.
no subject
"A meal and a drink sound wonderful. Then we can collapse in our bed and just rest for a year..."
His eyes twinkle as he says it, but he lifts his pack and scans for a table, and sees one, and grins at her.
"Looks like that one is free."
no subject
"It's crowded tonight!"
She waves to a passing waitrat and orders two of whatever is on special for them, and a bottle of wine.
She watches him scamper away, and then takes Cain's hand in hers.
"Thank you."
no subject
He holds her hand and smiles.
"Thank you for what?"
no subject
"For this."
She leans over to kiss him softly.
"For that. For you."
no subject
"You're welcome. And I return the sentiment. Without you... I am nothing. With you, everything is more alive, more powerful, more true."
He kisses her softly. The he whispers.
"And you have one very nice ass..."
no subject
"A HA!"
She pulls her wand from her bag and in only a moment or two, they are dry again.
no subject
"I cant wait to see what all you can do with that. I know we have been together for awhile, but everything we went through back on Earth gives me more appreciation than ever for you and everything about you."
He grins.
One hand goes out and gently traces her face, until the wait rats come with their food. He chuckles and starts to say something about not being hungry, until his stomach interrupts him.
He laughs.
no subject
She's smiling slyly at him. She pour wine for both of them, and hold up her glass to him.
"To being home again. Together."
no subject
"To being together, no matter where. You are my home, no matter where the winds take us."
He clinks his glass with hers.
no subject
"I wonder how long we've been gone in bar time? There doesn't seem to be too many unfamiliar faces, even if I don't know them all by name."
She takes a bite of her food, and just...revels in being back home.
no subject
After a little while of eating, he asks a wait rat if it knows when they left. The rat scurries away and comes back with a note.
You have been gone almost6 three weeks, Bar Time.
He blinks.
"Huh... weird."
He passes it to Molly.
no subject
She sets the note down and shrugs.
"I hope Asar-Suti will let me go back to working in the gardens. I keep disappearing on him, without really speaking to him. I've only left notes."
no subject
"I am sure he will. You are a good person. And you have definitely shown you can work and survive roughing it this trip."
He smiles proudly at her.
no subject
"Yes, but that doesn't help him here while I'm off galavanting with you."
She takes another bite of her meal and smiles at Mortimer.
"What do you think Mortimer? This is going to be your new home!"
She's really grown ridiculously attached to the carved head in the short time that Cain's owned him.
no subject
"I am sure Mortimer agrees that anyone would be foolish to not forgive you and take you back on..."
He grins. Then he glances around.
"It feels... weird to be back here, like... i is home and yet, it feels weird. Good, but... weird."
no subject
It does feel a bit strange to be back at last. She really hadn't expected a door to present itself so soon after they had decided they were ready to come back.
no subject
He thinks about it, then shrugs.
"Whatever the reason, I am glad we are home, and together."
He grins at her and leans over to kiss her.
no subject
She takes another couple of bites of food, and finishes her wine before pushing her plate away.
She rests her elbow on the edge of the table, and rests her chin on her hand, and just looks at him.
"I am in love with you."
no subject
"And I am in love with you. With every corner of my heart."
He smiles softly at her, and scoots his chair around a little to be closer to her.
no subject
"What do you say we take Mortimer upstairs, and turn him to face a corner so we can do naughty things to each other?"
no subject
"That, my dear? Sounds very nice indeed."
He grins at her and rises, gathering his bags.
"That will give me a chance to give you another present I picked up in a town a ways back..."
He winks at her and starts forward.
no subject
She gathers up Mortimer and tucks him under her arm as she follows him toward the stairs.
"What is it?"
no subject
"Matching mens and women's silk lingerie..."
He winks at her and unlocks the door, ushering her in and finding a place to shed his bags.
no subject
"You're incorrigable."
It's not as if they'll be wearing it for long. But if it pleases him, she'll wear whatever he likes.
She puts Mortimer down on the dressing table, and turns him to face the wall, then turns and steps into Cain's waiting arms."
