Doyle makes his way down the stairs and into the bar proper. It's been a while since he's made himself available for...anything really. But, he's here, at least for now. He's dressed casually enough with a black T and slacks, and a sheathed sword in his hand.
His intentions are practice out by the lake, but first? Breakfast. Which would explain him stopping at the bar to put in an order and then the waitrat carrying his food as he settles in a booth. Eggs, bacon, and some toast with a nice hot cup of tea.
Feel free to catch him before he goes out to the lake. He might even offer bacon.

She wakes up slowly, stretches and yawns. Then she makes her way to the bar, sliding a hand through her hair, which now falls to her hips. Spotting him as she presses her belly into the wood she stops and then says softly.
"Doyle" having no doubt that he will hear her.

He gives a small bow, because formality is never something to forget. "Princess Meredith."
no subject
"I.." She laughs at the bow and then murmurs. "I had hoped for something a little more demonstrative." She quirks a smile. "Unless..have things changed?..for us?"
no subject
"Nothing has changed that I know of. You know I never did like public demonstrations."
no subject
"Yes, but I think this is a little special." She says softly into his black skin. Finally she releases him and then looks him up and down. "You look just the same." She says with wonder.
no subject
"You are always special, and I have never liked being public. Somethings are hard to change, my dear Merry." He runs his hand through her hair with a smile. "And you look like much time has passed. How long have you truly been gone?"
no subject
"Years I believe." She says softly and then shakes her head. "let me get some breakfast and I will join you. I..how long have I been gone from here?"
no subject
"Seven months or so I believe." He glances at the bar. "You could always order and let a waitrat bring it over."
no subject
"Yes." She says easily and then steps back and away towards the booth where his food was. It's a slow process as she watches him more than where she is going and smiles just a little bit. "What have I missed?" she asks nearly helplessly.
no subject
He makes a move to offer her the inner booth seat, because it'd be wrong for them to sit across from each other. "I was learning Spanish before I disappeared for a time here, in exchange for teaching the person how to use a bow. I made a nice friend. Other than that, not much."
no subject
She watches him and tilts her head. "I'm glad that you made friends Doyle"
no subject
He gives her a small warm smile. "It feels nice to have them. Few as they may be. It's been a while since I've been in the position of being able to have them." He tilts his head at her, eying her. She may notice a little more reds and oranges playing in his eyes, that have nothing to do with his power.
"So, where have you been all this time?"
no subject
"This place offers many comforts that are otherwise not available." She says evenly and then leans back. Watching his eyes curiously. "I..don't know. I don't believe it actually had a name, or if it did, it was earth. Perhaps a different time, or perhaps a different earth all together." She answers honestly.
no subject
"That it does." He doesn't actually know about the new color in his eyes, though he'd have a fairly good clue where it came from if she were to mention it. "What did you do there to be gone for years?" Yes that's an edge of concern to his voice.
no subject
"You have changed some." She says without rancor, just stating the fact and then her chin lifts and her eyes meet his, tri colored still.
"I have been learning how to be sidhe." She says softly. "I have been learning how to control myself, getting the time that I would have never had back home to be something to contend with."
no subject
"Well, learning how to have a friend that doesn't actually need anything except friendship back takes a change." He leans down to give her a kiss. Her heads just tilted right for it is all, honest.
"So you have a better grasp on what you can do?" There's a shimmer of cheerfulness to his features now. He'd ask for a demonstration, but to find a willing victim may be hard considering her powers.
no subject
A slow smile at the kiss and her mouth presses eagerly into his, but not holding him when he pulls back. "It's been a long time since I can remember that circumstance as well. A friend you do not have to worry about. What a amazing concept."
She nods slowly at him. "Yes, it is not so..abrupt, and surprising, and I should be able to control when the goddess comes into me a little better as well."
no subject
He pulls back just enough to nuzzle her cheek, leaving a small trail of kisses down her neck. "A friend that doesn't have to deal with anything that comes from court is an amazing concept."
He runs his hand down her back. "That is always a good thing to know. It's good that you can have more control over it."
no subject
A shiver at the kisses and she presses her mouth to the curve of his jaw, nuzzling in there gently, absorbing his scent and wallowing in it for a moment. "Yes..yes it is."
She breathes out and then opens her eues and nods. "Makes me feel less precarious, more..ready, for Cel and whatever he plans."
no subject
He places a small kiss on her forehead as the waitrat finally brings her food. "Hopefully we'll be able to avoid having to deal with Prince Cel and his plans."
no subject
She muses on that and then presses her mouth to the point of his chin, her hand sliding up his side gently. "You truely have changed Doyle..optimism is something I would have never expected."
no subject
He looks down at her, "Well, this place seems to rejuvenate the soul as well as the person. Maybe I'm just spending too much time here." He shifts his head to kiss her.
no subject
"Oh..yes.." she agrees readily. "Let us do everything within our power to make you cemented in my mind." She's smiling at him increadulously.
A shake of her head and her hands slide up to cup his face and help press him down for a sweet kiss.
"I have made it a rule, there is no such thing, ever, as too much time here for you."
no subject
His hand traces up and down her back. "But only after you've eaten. Wouldn't do well to cement a bad experience into your mind because you didn't eat."
There's a non-verbal noise as answer to that last statement. Only a deepening of the kiss, and a small nip to her lower lip.
no subject
A soft murmur and she glances to a wait rat, having the food delivered to his room.
"Lets have breakfast in bed." She says with a slow smile, her hand twining with his as she pushes him gently out of the booth and leads him up and away, where they can get re-aquainted with one another.
