Sam stands in front of the Stargate, all suited up in her gear and looking all offical.

"Okay, people. Once we get there the first thing we need to do is set up a camp and base of operations. Then McKay and I will figure out where the ships are. While we're doing that, Sheppard will take the rest of you to scout out the area based on what ability and what you're used to. Based on the location of the ships we'll make more concrete plans. Of course you all have been equiped with radios so if any team runs into any problems then we can contact one another.

Okay. Janet and Cassie? We'll be in contact within five hours. If you don't hear from us, assume there's a problem and dial us.

This is the time for last questions and goodbyes."


And then after everything's done the gate is dialed and they
head out.

Janet nods in understanding.

The radio has already been set up so she and Cassie can keep in contact with the offworld teamns, along with the medical gear and extra weapons in case anyone comes back under fire. She sincerely hopes that won't happen.

It's going to be a very long and anxious wait.

Cassie touches her mom's arm in what she intends to be a reassuring way.

"Everything will be okay.
They're very strong people. It will all work out."

Sara has already spoken to her closest friends and left notes for the others.

She has her gear ready and her gun in hand.

Piper's there, of course standing with her sisters.
She's dressed causually, and is unarmed. But then again, she and Sudzco did agree that her powers were weapons.

So perhaps not so unarmed.

Sheppard strolls up, carrying both his gear-a lucky thing he kept some of his clothes from Atlantis in his room; he thinks-and what appears to be a cardboard sign. He seems to be at ease and evn a little bit eager; while the door still won't work for him, at least now there's another way out.

So it's a way out that might lead to a particularly nasty end. It's still an escape from Milliways.

Corran walks through and looks around. "Must be the place... Everyone here looks grim enough."

He checks the pouches on his belt--blaster pistol, extra power packs, and lightsaber hanging at left side, all check.

He eyes the 'Gate and releases a deep breath. "Hey, if Shep and the Doc trust it..."
