The door opens and a familiar face comes in... but for the time being, it's not Michael Guerin in the driving seat.

By mutual consent between him and Michael, Rath of Antar has just come to Milliways as more than just a passenger.

Faith winces.

"Well, I guess Tel's at least being a little discreet about it, since I'm just now finding out."

"Teldaro does not know the word discretion", Rath says with a crooked grin. "Perhaps he just hasn't got around to you yet."

"....poor Sesh," Faith says, facepalming.

And giggling quietly.

"It could be worse. Teldaro could have broadcast it. He has been known to do that."

"Yes," Faith says, remembering the wedding. "I know."

"Also, I suspect he hasn't told Shelley. For some reason."

"Much as I'd like to think 'because he has some tact' is the reason, it's probably because she hasn't been around much?"

"...yes, most likely", he says, with a faint frown. "I don't suppose you know why?"

"She's been in Tackleford. I saw her earlier."

Whee, Millitime.

"She said something about stopping by and investigating Michael's inbox."

"...did she now." There's restrained laughter in his voice. "Michael is... resigned to that. Though he's muttering about plots against him."

"...is he? Oops."

Innocentface from Faith.

Feeear.

"He does it every time Shelley and Sesh do what they do. I wouldn't worry."

"Oh. Well."

Faith smiles, brightly.

"Random and I were talking earlier, and the topic of Michael with pink hair came up. So he's not entirely wrong."

Rath blinks. And forcibly represses Michael from coming forward to say what he thinks about that.

"...pink hair?"

"Yeah. Well. When I say the topic 'came up,' I mean I brought it up and she didn't respond at all. So it's all my fault, really."

Faith is Cheery.

"I'm not going to do it, but it makes for interesting mental images."

"You might not. Lyrae, however, might decide it was funny. And she has the power to act on it."

"...hm. Good point," Faith admits. "Oops."

"Ah, well. At least it's easily undone."

Michael subsides into a sulk in the back of the shared mind, at this reminder.

"It could be worse. I have a friend who could turn him into a girl."

Mmm, Buffyverse magic.

"...yes, I think avoiding that would be best for all concerned."

"Magic from the world I was born in does some very interesting things," Faith says, cheerfully. "My friend Willow knows a girl who got stuck as a rat for four years."

"...that sounds extremely unpleasant."

"She turned herself into a rat to avoid being burned at the stake, which would have been even more unpleasant, I expect."

"Well, yes. A matter of the first thing she could think of?"

"I wasn't there, but from what I'm told, yes. She was tied up, didn't have a lot of choices. It turned out to be unneccessary, there was a Slayer there - Buffy - and she could have saved her, but Amy was too scared to think straight, I guess."
