Earlier today, Jack came in and headed toward the bar to get a cup of coffee and warm up a bit. Cool weather's starting to set in back in Lakefield, and after being outside chopping wood, he was looking forward to having a hot cup of coffee and relaxing for a bit. When his coffee arrived, a note arrived with it.
Needless to say, he's not relaxing much now. He's sitting at a table with a clear view of the door, fingers drumming against the table top as he attempts to read inbetween glances at the door. It goes without saying that he really doesn't look happy.
Someone is definitely going to get a talking to when they get back.

She stops in her tracks for a moment. "Huh."

[ooc: He won't bite. ...Much. Promise.]

She quirks an eyebrow, and grins.
"Delinquent daughter?"
[ooc: Hah! Good.]

"My dad's given me that exact same look too many times for me to not recognise it. Did she run off with some boy?"

And this cat needs some human therapy.
"Mrow?"
no subject
Though if it is, he knows the cat doesn't talk, so why he's asking that, he's not sure.

This is most likely a yes. Takes a flying leap, and lands with a nice thump in Jack's lap.
Purrs. Madly.

He just knows that his human has been acting very oddly, and it's a relief to get some quality pettage.
The purring ramps up a bit.

He kind of gives Jack a polite-smile-like-look, but it becomes a frown when he sniffs the air and looks at Jack more closely.
He's sort of torn about outright asking if something's wrong, though.
no subject
"Hey, Behrooz. How're you?" he asks.
no subject
So Behrooz promptly fails to answer Jack's question and asks, "Is something wrong?"

And while the look he offers isn't exactly angry like Jack's, it does seem to suggest this wasn't the smartest action on Angela's part, perhaps with some sympathy.
"That's..."
Beat.
"... all she left?" Behrooz isn't helpful.
