Lawrence is, at the moment, settled down with his arms behind his neck on the grass next to the lake.

To the untrained eye it might appear that he's fallen asleep, but he's really paying quite close attention. He's enjoying the cool evening - his shirt is bunched up behind his head to act as a pillow.

As such, his fairly scarred upper body is exposed, but he doesn't seem very bothered.

"But you agree it was a disturbance."

A light, teasing smile.

"Well, of course." He arches a brow, wetting his lips.

"Quite pleasant, however."

"Could you then call it an interruption?" he asks, mischief in his eyes.

"I could, with perhaps some incentive."

It's arguable his own eyes always hold that sort of look, unless he's at an extreme of emotion.

Nick leans over and cups his hand behind Lawrence's head to pull him close enough... to whisper in his ear.

"Is that so?"

Surely Nick can hear the speed of his heartbeat, but that is about the only thing that gives away his ... sudden problem.

"Oh, well, if you're not interested..."

"When did I say that?" he answers with a soft, purring tone as he ducks in to press a kiss just below Lawrence's jaw.

"I do believe, Nicholas, that you are a tease."

He sighs, tilting his head just a little in hopes of coaxing another kiss from Nick.

A short, soft laugh.

"Is that a problem?"

"I do not believe so."

He slips a hand out to curl in Nick's hair.

And Nick presses another kiss a little lower down.

"Once more, good."

This time he can't help the slight noise in the back of his throat.

"Yes. Well." He's having a rather hard time focusing, more because he doesn't feel there's a reason to put out the effort. He's perfectly trusting of Nick at the moment.

Nick dips down and nuzzles the tip of his nose against Lawrence's throat, his lips a soft counterpoint just below.

Lawrence's fingers tighten minutely into Nick's hair, his head dropping back again to expose the curve of his throat to the vampire.

And Nick smiles against his skin before starting a soft line of kisses down his neck to the shoulder. Once there, however, he gives a sharp bite.

His breath hitches when he feels Nick's bite, moaning at the sharp sensation.

He shifts minutely, one hand curling on the other's hip to draw him closer.

And he pulls away with a mischeivious smile.

"I think that if we're to continue things, it might be best if we do so in a room."

Lawrence takes a few seconds to collect himself, then grabs his shirt from behind his head.

"Perhaps."

And he gives a soft laugh, not at Lawrence just... because he's happy. And amused. But happy.

"Lawrence."

And it's not so much his name as a roundabout way of telling the other man how much he cares about him.

He might toss his shirt at Nicholas right before he slips up to his feet and offers Nick his hand.

"Nicholas." He's quite returning the affectionate tone.

Nick's on his feet a moment later, holding Lawrence's shirt out to him.

"We do have to pass through the bar."

"As if they haven't seen a topless Englishman before."

But he does slip the shirt on, although he doesn't button it.

"Yes, well... perhaps I want you to myself."

He slips an arm into Nicholas' as they head towards the door.

"And as if I'd have anyone but."

And Nick puffs up just a bit at that before giving Lawrence a smile.
