And right after that, the Door opened again to admit a tired but relieved at being done with work Ghostbuster. He also had sore fingers. Maria was teething. And he was wondering if there was beaver in the family tree somewhere. A kid should not be able to *eat* a playpen.

He blinked and shielded his eyes at another arrival.

"Yo buddy, lay off the high beams will ya?" He yelled.

"Yeah, I'm not thrilled about schlepping the proton pack regularly, it comes in handy from time to time."

Peter then said, "You got a bit? This is gonna take a while." He did a summary of updates, including Oscar being kidnapped, and then later found. Bringing Maria here. Ongoing problems with more ghost activity, and him being offered a shot to run as mayor. Some highlights of stuff from Danny's world. Also highlights about the Armegeddon clock from the summer, helping Ray deal with Peck, and whatever else happened to Peter since he saw the Ranger last.

Probably gonna be a long while. The beer will be long gone.

Cue much blinking (in-between his jaw clenching with controlled anger as certain places in the narrative) with eyebrows going so high you would think they were trying to transplant themselves to his bald scalp.

"An eventful time, I see," he says as he waves a waitrat over. A refill is definately in order. "And to think I have been simply involved in equine husbandry."

"Yeah? Lucky for you. Sounds like a nice vacation."

One eyebrow quirks in an ironic manner.

"You, my friend, have never been tasked with 'collecting' a stallion."

"Uh, no, though some ladies used to call me one," He smirked some.

He probably shouldn't do this. Some of his people might consider in unbecoming.

But, sometimes, even an evolved human must surrender to temptation.

Peter suddenly has the Ranger's memory of the last "collection" session playing in his mind...the one where the Ranger was the one holding the bag.

Yes, it's exactly what it sounds like.

Smirk vanishing in three....two....one.

Quickly followed by the ignition of "URGHHHH-AHHHHHH WHAT THE HELL??????"

The Ranger only smiles and accepts tea from a passing waitrat.

"Quite a 'vacation', don't you think?"

Peter looked rather green now as he flopped into a seat.

"I think I need a lot more drinks to get that image out of my head."

The Ranger chuckles.

"Oh, that's not so bad. Especially compared to the time I attended a F'xali wedding..."

There's a twinkle in his eye. An impish but warning twinkle.

He frowned, "...Really don't wanna know, Mr. Lite Brite."

The Ranger smirks a little and lets the waitrat know that Peter's next drink is on his tab.

Which Peter promptly ordered.

"Thanks," he said to him afterwards.

"To further make it up to you, perhaps you would like to sometime see the offspring of that rather...interesting endeavor. The foals are sure to be quite adorable."

Peter blinked, "I'll pass. Especially if that time I happen to have the kids with me. Don't need Maria crying for a pony just yet, she's only teething now."
