Joint Entrance Post.
[OOM: Back at the SGC, a plan gets put into action.]
It's John Sheppard that enters first, in full BDUs and poised in a way that he hasn't been since he was recalled from Atlantis -- alert, and ready for anything.
But apparently not for Milliways.
Elizabeth Weir follows, identically dressed but far less poised, a P90 matching John's hitched to her vest. The bar door closes behind them both, and the pair stares at each other with equal parts frustration and despair.
The despair strengthens -- at least for Elizabeth -- when the door disappears behind her.
[OOC: Open for tagging Weir, Sheppard or both. Both are Bound.]

After all, there's still McKay and Beckett following them-or they were, anyway. Not it seems that it's just the two of them. "Dammit. What're we suppsoed to do if somebody from SGC shows up?"
no subject
"I have no clue, John."
She walks up to the wall where the door used to be.
"...We can't be trapped here."
no subject
He's not sure what to make of that, really, besides possibly taking it as a sign that the Bar doesn't like him.

"What -- what do we do?"
no subject
Sheppard and being Bound don't mix well together.
no subject
"Does any of that actually help, Colonel?"

...and sometimes it's for months on end.

"It better be short," she mumbles to herself.
Elizabeth starts again, "So. What first?" in reference to her gun and supplies -- in general, 'what to do when you're trapped at the end of the universe 101'.

"If you ask the Bar, she'll give you a key."
no subject
In the tone of 'You're explaining yourself later.'
But she does indeed go to the bar, asking for both a key and a change of clothing.
"Can't stay in BDUs forever."
no subject
He glances around the bar, frowning. "I still like to keep a gun on me in here, though."
no subject
She'll figure it out. Maybe.
no subject
Neither would Sheppard, if he saw Kolya again.
"You heard the bar rules, right?"

"...I imagine."

Except really not, but it's easier to pretend. Elizabeth has more experience at pretending like she understands what's going on.
"You may have to show me people to avoid, here."

"Or the Replicators coming through a door you'd used in Atlantis."
no subject
He might be the one who was best at controlling the city's doors, weapons, and the like, but he never did get a stable door for Milliways.

"Maybe I'll take that drink now."
no subject
Not, however, necessarily smart enough to avoid doing things that will get him court marshalled, assuming he survives the experience.
"Going with my hangover plan?"

His attention goes to the Bar. "In that case...beer, I guess. The usual."
no subject
Elizabeth is full of surprises, some days.

"And getting them back on-track again."
