This...outfit bar has put Tidus in. It's very, um.

White. Which he's sure is fine, but not very much him.

His skin, he notices, and that's kinda of disturbing, is far paler than it was before he stepped through the door.

And if he had a mirror, he'd know his eyes look like there are stars in them.

Thankfully, he doesn't, or else he'd go running quick as can be.

The woman turning away from Bar with a cup of tea is tall and graceful, with serene manner and expression.

Until she spies him, that is.

The teacup clatters loudly against the saucer as she sets it down abruptly, and her face is as pale as her gown-- although not as pale as his, of course.

"Er?" Tidus ventures, helpfully, upon spotting the very pale woman.

Maybe the white is blinding her. Oh man. Wakka's going to kill him if he blinds someone with white clothes, and then laugh at him, and he so doesn't want to explain to Yuna why he needs her to heal someone in the bar if it's caused by this.

'Aragorn' seated at a table some distance away, studying the room through occasional puffs of smoke from his pipe.

His face doesn't change.

But there's something suddenly more coiled in his lazy slouch -- as if at any instant he might spring. And he watches, very closely indeed.

She shakes her head, staring at him, and light flashes from the starlike gem on her finger as she takes tight hold of her skirts.

"...Daniel?"

"Tidus," he corrects, and if maybe the name sounds like something he's heard before, he's not sure where or when, so he doen't worry about it.

"Um. I'm not normally so--are you okay?"

"I see."

There is a moment of tense silence, in which she turns and gives the Bar a long, steady glance, and then she turns back to him.

"I am as well as may be expected, Tidus. I did not mean to react so; it is only that your attire reminded me very strongly of someone that I did not expect to see here."

Bar gives the air of one who's serene herself.

It's fitting.

And she knows it.

"--Do you know someone named Lulu?" he has to ask, before he grins at her and puts one arm behind his neck. "It's okay! I've had some reactions like that myself here."

At least Moiraine's not slugging him.

"I am not acquainted with anyone by that name, as it happens."

A pause.

"This is an unusual place, I would not disagree."

All signs of shock are gone, now, hidden behind a serene and expressionless mask.

"Tidus?" says the giant moogle, piteously.

Some poor pathetic person is in a giant moogle costume. And cannot see him very well, resultingly.

Tidus is not usually this white! Maybe it is...

...no one else has hair like that.

He peers at the moogle.

And then blinks.

"--Yuna?"

This could get excessive.

"I don't know what happened!"

She fumbles at the head of the costume, but can't remove it.

(Because the costume lacks opposable thumbs, not because of Bar-magic.)

"Here," he offers, helpfully, and donates his thumbs to the cause.

Um. They do stay on his hands, though. For the record.

"I don't either! I'm just--" White. Very, very white.

It pops off pretty easily, actually; inside, Yuna looks fairly sweaty and disheveled.

She paws at her face with the hand not holding a moomba onna stick, and manages to get bits of her hair actually sticking straight up. "Your--"

As a rule, Yuna does not make cracks about people eyes. "You're very changed," she says instead.

Tidus has to grin, a little, and smooths her hair playfully.

Kinda of making it worse, admittedly.

"I'm not the walking moogle. And is that good or bad?"

You know what this gets him? Thwapped with a moomba onna stick!

She shakes her head hard, trying to get her hair to behave; all it does it make her braids rattle.

"Do you think the bar did it?"
