(no subject)

Mun wants both her pups in at once and is being lazy. So two for one special on the pups.

Rin is currently beside the fire and looking half-asleep with a book on her lap and a white plush looking blanket on her lap. She's definitely botherable and she hates sleeping almost as much as she hates Akito, which is quite a bit if you know anything about her. Her black hair is falling over her shoulders and on her lap while her head is leaning against the high back chair. Feel free to interrupt... or watch her sleep, after all, a girl who lives with her family has called her a "bewitching beauty".

Inuyasha on the other hand is perfectly content to be seated up the rafters again and enjoying ramen. Judging by the mess beneath him, this has to be his eighth cup of ramen. clatter ...make that ninth cup of ramen. No one knows how many of those things he's got up there on the rafters, or how delighted he is to have a basically endless supply of ramen.

Dammit, it figures she doesn't get anything out of this. She's used to the disappointment but, it still hurts nonetheless. Rin leans against the door a little more and frowns to herself.

"So it's something you were born with and control."

If her own family's curse could only be that simple...

Rin gets tea. Tea is something. She didn't even ask now, what Rin would like, simply blended until the whole room smelled of spring flowers. Then she separated the mixture into two small cloth bags and made two mugs of tea...just to set Rin at ease.

"I was born with it, yes, though it did not arise in my blood until my seventeenth summer...and I had never heard of females of the Were blood, I think my own was a...mistake of fate. I control it as well as I might. I cannot ignore the full moon, and when I first began to change I was frozen in Fur for quite some time" she explained, leaning against a counter with her mug.

"My Lord Jason's is a far harsher thing"

Rin accepts the tea. The scent of it and in the room is something she finds she likes. Her hands wrap around the mug as she waits for it to cool a little.

"How is his a harsher thing than yours? Is he unable to control it?"

She's perfectly fine with finding out about this Were thing, maybe something in the telling will give her an idea of how to try and break her own.

"In his reality, shifting is neither kind nor gentle. Where I shift as one form to another through mists and moments, his breaks and reshapes his bones, tears his skin and takes far longer to do so...he is not always clear minded, especially if too hungry or weary. He and his are powerful, yes, stronger than any man...but weak to silver and sharing themselves with their "beast" they call it. As if they and their other form cannot truly mesh..." she sounded sad as she spoke, for it was always a hard thing for her to hear Jason's screams when he shifted...

"He can control it to a degree as well, though he too is moon tied. Changing to wolf, then back too soon exhausts him though" she wasn't adverse to sharing information...facts fought fear after all, and she'd learned that here, here, she could not be hunted.

"This Jason's shifting sounds more like a curse than yours does."

She responds, taking a really small sip of the tea and finding that she likes it. Rin kind of relates to both of them when she thinks about it. She's usually in pain before the transformation and during it until she either feels better, Hatori is called or she manages to change back.

Apparently speaking of the shifting is painful for her, Rin knows that kind of pain all too well.

"Upon occasion, aye" she admitted softly, the sadness perhaps even more evident. "And there seems to be naught to be done help...such pain..." she shook her head softly, tea mug cradled against her chest.

"Might I ask, Lady, why you are curious of such? Most wish to know of dangers to themselves, truth, but not more..." she offered delicately.

"Is it rare for someone to want to know what the nature of this kind of thing?"

She asks, eyes narrowing slightly as she took another sip of tea.

"Indeed, Lady" she admitted easily "To most the idea seems either repugnant or fascinating in a horrifying way. Either way, most fear to ask further questions, much as one would not question overly the death of a kinsman perhaps, or a battle wound..." she sipped her tea as well, rolling the florals along her tongue.
