The problem with the holiday season is that nearly everyone who knows Arthur gives him tea.

This is also the best thing about the holiday season.

That's not to say it's all he's recieved, though. He's also got a new dressing gown (which looks mostly like the old one, only significantly less worn and stained) and Kenna is at his feet wholeheartedly enjoying one of his new toys.

Company would be most welcome.

Sharpe is in the bar too, with a very young baby in the crook of one arm and Kenna's littermate held on a leash with his other hand.

Kenna barks quietly - well, quietly for a Doberman - as he catches his brother's scent.

"Quiet, now."

Looking around, he notices Sharpe and family and smiles.

"Afternoon", Sharpe says, smiling back. "Arthur, aye?"

"That's me."

"Seen you at the Antarians' things", Sharpe notes. "Not sure we've met proper, though."

He nods. "No, I don't believe we have. Arthur Dent."

"Richard Sharpe." He doesn't really have a hand free for shaking, but the thought counts, right?
