The problem with the holiday season is that nearly everyone who knows Arthur gives him tea.

This is also the best thing about the holiday season.

That's not to say it's all he's recieved, though. He's also got a new dressing gown (which looks mostly like the old one, only significantly less worn and stained) and Kenna is at his feet wholeheartedly enjoying one of his new toys.

Company would be most welcome.

Mark's not a dog person. Never has been. However, he really can't resist. Reaching down, he scritches the dog behind the ears. "Going really well, actually. We're busy with our next film." He shrugs, then pauses, a rather silly look on his face. "Got engaged too."

Arthur grins.

"I remember you telling me about the ring. Congratulations."

Mark beams. "Thanks." He pauses, fiddling with his bag for a moment. "Uh, I'd like you to be in the wedding." It kinda all comes out at once.

"I'd be honored."

Mark grins. "That's wonderful. Thanks. The ceremony, uh, I think is going to be somewhere at the end of March. We, er, haven't found an exact date yet."

"Well, you've got plenty of time to plan."

He gets a rather dreamy look in his eyes.

"Isn't it amazing to think that out of an entire universe full of people, you've found the one person you want to spend your entire life with?"

Mark beams. "Yes. And it's even stranger when they're from another universe, actually."

He blinks.

"That's a good point."

Mark shrugs. "Sara's from Earth, but another Earth. And seven years in my future." He pauses. "I don't ask questions."

"Ah, yes. That's when I start referring to people as "my friends, from out of town."

Mark laughs. "See, that's the good thing about Bohemians, too. They appear out of nowhere, with sketchy backgrounds. You take people as they are."
