... Now here's a question.
What could be causing that noise that is surprisingly reminiscent of cannon fire?
I'll tell you one thing, it's definitely not Puck.
The curious synchronicity between the time that he opens his mouth and the rather loud (sound of an) explosion should not be viewed as anything other than a strange coincidence of Milliways.
:D?
[OOC: Um, yes. Puck is, in fact, taking advantage of his skills in the art of mimicry to make noises like a cannon. DUCK AND COVER.]

Well. Other than the one time, where he heard a cannon fire and ducked under a table for a moment. But he will never, -ever- admit to that. Because that would be something a silly person would do.
And Riku is not silly.
He -proves- this lack of silly by noticing the curious synchronicity - within a couple minutes, in any case. As he is also not the type to retreat for a bit, and he did not retreat to the bathrooms at all. We swear.
So with his complete lack of silly and complete lack of fleeing, Riku walks right up to Puck.
"What are you doing?" He demands. "Are you trying to give someone a heart attack?"

"Who, me, sir?"

"That fellow, perhaps. He has rather a look to him."
no subject
"If you're lying," he says, as threateningly as he can make it, "I'll be back!"
He strides off.
no subject
Patiently.
What does he care if the kid comes back and yells at him? It might even be fun.

Upon entering he hears the afformentioned cannon fire and dives for the floor, scattering holly berries all over the floor.
peeking out from under his saucepan helmet he scans the room slowly to see what exploded.
"Boom?" he says with a some what quite voice.
no subject
"'Twould seem so, yes."

Pulling a pack of seeds out of his pouch Pikel begins to mumble while waggling his fingers over the hand holding the seeds.
When he is complete the seeds glow a soft yellow for a few moments then return to normal seeds.
Holding his hand out palm up in front of him Pikel aims towards Puck and blows the seeds off of his hand.
The magic he cast upon them carries them to Puck, where they come to rest, settling themselves upon his clothes, and in his hair. should he try he could surely find and remove them.
[OOC:I hope you don't mind some Dwarven Doodad mischief.]

His eyebrows arch.
"Do I really," he drawls, "resemble a patch of earth to you?"
no subject
Breathing out in a heavy sigh of dispair Pikel accidently breathes on the seeds causing them to fly back into his face, and scatter all over his body.
Flailing his arms in an attempt to knock the seeds off Pikel manages to utter the triggering rune for his next spell.
His water spell sprouts out of his hand and ricochets off the ceiling to land all over his body causing the magic of the seeds to sprout...Literally.
There is now a 5 foot tall shrubbery in bar standing exactly where pikel was standing.

Actually, that's a lie.
What Puck does is burst out laughing.

When the chanting is done the flowers fall off of Pikel and pile around him.
Opening his pack Pikel begins to sweep the flowers into it with liberal use of a gust of wind spell.
The bag seems to hold alot more then it's physical bounds.

And then
(BANG)
her head snaps around, eyes wide and startled, and the tea's all over the floor.
no subject
He doesn't laugh: That's a dead giveaway.
... Knowing his luck, however, she'll guess that he's to blame regardless of how he plays it. River's good at that.

One hand still clutches her skirt absent-mindedly, her small pile of presents precariously balancing in the sagging pocket of skirt-folds.
no subject
And slowly begins to siiiiiiiidle towards the stairs.
(Not that he's afraid of her or anything. No way.
She's just creepy.)
no subject
Until her head drops, and her eyes snap to him.
She doesn't say a word. Just watches.
no subject
Caught again.
He flashes a brilliant smile.
"Well, well. Good even."

no subject
... Innocently.
Really!
no subject
"What the hell are you doing?"
He does sound sort of amused, though.
no subject
"Really, it gets so dreadfully dull around here. I only meant to have a bit of fun."
He smiles placidly.
"I do enjoy watching them jump."
no subject
"Jesus," Nick mutters. "That's... crazy."
And somewhat amazing!
... but mostly crazy.

"I am the very model of sanity, sir."
