Wells has been busy at the Academy most of the day- small surprise. Some of the girls are coming up on being field-ready. That's a critical p hase in their training, and he doesn't want to see it go awry now.

It does mean that he's been forced to keep up with the reflexes and endurance of Slayers for twelve or fourteen hours now, though, so he reckons he's earned dinner and a pint by the fire.

"Well... I guess you've got a point there. If you don't have the agility or the dexterity or whatever the hell is needed to stay out of their way... then I guess you don't need to keep your teeth." She makes a face at that though. "Though I would assume that would hurt. As for the bow training, that should be easy. We'll just have to pick days and times."

"Oh, yeah, it hurt like hell," Wells says. "But you get over that after a while. I expect I'll be in here most any day this week, so whenever's free f'you's all right by me."

"Well... seeing as I've not even gone back home yet I'll be here a while." Not that she couldn't go home. She just hadn't. "I've got to find out when Makita wants to do this as well. Since you both show interest in learning how to use the bow."

Wells nods. "You know Makita, eh? Only met her the once, myself."

"I don't actually know her. I met her once. Seems you and her have a favorite trade off though." She states giving a slight shake of her head.

"The guns?" Wells guesses. "Would you rather I offered hand-to-hand? I dunno if you've got formal martial arts training, is why I didn't offer before."

"Yeah, the guns." She gives a slight laugh. "I've got more street fighting techniques than anything else. But whatever you're willing to teach is fine by me. I'm not a picky person."

"Whatever I can, then," says Wells. "I'm mostly a speed man at hand to hand, you should know. Mostly I fight like a football riot's goin' on."

"Sounds like fun." She gives a slight laugh. "You and Hannibal would definitely get along. Well, okay, maybe."

"You've said that before, I think," says Wells. "If he ever turns up around here, send him my way and we'll find out. He into football at all? What you'd call soccer, I mean?"

"I'm not sure if King is into sports or nots. He's a built guy so its possible that he's done something of that sort at some point. But I'm not too sure." She gives a slight nod. "If he ever turns up I'll drag him out to meet you."

"Fair enough," says Wells. "I'm in and out of here often enough that it won't be a problem."

She gives a slight nod. "That's good to know. It shouldn't be a problem for me to find you then. Though it isn't like I can't just leave a note or something either I guess." Or something of that nature. She's still slightly getting used to how Bar works.
