Hiro has -- made himself comfortable. Sure, by doing so he fell asleep in a boothe, but-- still. The guy's had a long (confusing, squee-filled) day. Still, he woke up to the bustling of bar and began to stumble about, realizing:

He has only the vaguest idea of where he is.
He has no idea how to leave, because he can't seem to find a door out that doesn't lead to SCOTLAND, or it's equivalent.
He needs a shower.
He's famished and this place has the best waffles on God's green earth-- or, well, the multiverse.

He's decided to pursue problem 4 -- one and two will sort themselves out but waffles wait for no one. No one.

Though, he does wish Ando were here. It's probably make communication easier. His english drastically improved... what with six months with his prettier teacher... but... Miscommunication is bound to happen. Ando would fix that. Ando's English is EXCELLENT. (Because of the American porn!)

For now? Waffles.

Okay, you'd have to be an Uber-Geek to recognize a character that made only one appearance in a TV show.

However, you wouldn't have to be quite as much of a geek to recognize the fact that this white-robed man who is sitting at a table near the Bar has a denn'bok in his hands which he is inspecting joint by joint.

And yes, that's Hiro -- looking over his glass of milk at the Ranger. HE TOTALLY KNOWS THAT STUFF.

Only he's trying to learn to fanboy from a polite distance.

Ah, but focused attention stands out to a psi-sensitive like the noon-day sun. After a moment, he looks up from his work to make deliberate eye-contact with Hiro...and smiles.

Hiro -- smiles! :D!!!

And then attempts to not stare. He'll be good. And stop goggle-eyeing at everyone. It's sort of like sensory overload. You just want to look and fanboy at EVERYTHING!

"I won't bite," he says, laughter dancing in his eyes. "You can have a closer look if you like."

He's not afraid of biting. But he's trying to be good! Really. But he smiles again, but puts up his hand. "No! No! Okay!"

He's fine, see? Just-- going to eye a lot.

"As you will, then," he says with a kindly chuckle. "But I am not adverse to company as I work."

With a twist-shake, he collapses the staff, then extends it again and resumes oiling it.

"Some people here call me Spero. What may I call you?"

"My name is Hiro!" Spero is an interesting name, he decides. He can stick with that, right? Sliding his hand through his hair, he scoots a little closer down the bar and beams.

...fanboying so very hard. Don't mind him.

"An honor to meet you, Hiro," he says. "Have you just recently found Milliways?"
