Goliath's expression is startled and then goes to anxious. He very nearly lifts Andrew up off the floor but stops his hands before they reach the man's shoulders. "You did? Brooklyn? Here? Was he well? Did he say anything about the others?"
Goliath's hands had been hanging in the air between him and Andrew nervously and when he hears that the news his good he lets one hand drop and the other clap onto Andrew's shoulder. "Yes. I'm sure he would have. Good." He nods. "Thank you Andrew. Do you know if he was allowed to return home?"
Goliath smiles, hoping that next time Brooklyn is in the bar he will have a chance to see him. "I will watch for him then. Have you eaten?" He removes his hand and gestures towards a table, "I was just coming in to get something myself."
There's a familiar sound, or smell- Harry's not sure which, but it doesn't really matter. He's been watching the Window, and thinking, and frankly he could use a break from it all. So.
He shakes his head, rubbing at his eyes with one hand. "There's been trouble," he says tersely. "With Ryan, and Zuko. I expect you'll hear all about it from Baby soon enough."
"The whole situation stinks," Wells says suddenly. "If Zuko'd just punched him, or taken it outside or something-" One hand clenches, flexes. "I told Annie about it all the other night."
He has to look Andrew in the eye for this, because if he can't do it, then what kind of a man is he?
"She said from what I told her about what Zuko said, he wanted Ryan to hurt and stay hurting, which is tantamount to torture. Good clean violence is one thing. Attacking to leave a mark's something else again."

He capes his wings around his shoulders and holds up a hand in greeting as he approaches. "Andrew, it has been awhile, how are you?"
no subject
Oh -- I ran into a member of your clan here, a few weeks back. Brooklyn?

Sorry, I don't know. I haven't seen him since that night, so he might have, but ... he could just as easily still be here.
I told him you were here.

*His gaze goes abstracted, and then suddenly his eyes widen.*
Yeah. She ... didn't mention that before.

He's not good at talking to people about certain things unless he can build up the conversation first. This is delicate going, for him.

Wow.
*Andrew's genuinely not sure what to think about this.*

*Something about Harry's tone ...*
What'd she say?

"She said from what I told her about what Zuko said, he wanted Ryan to hurt and stay hurting, which is tantamount to torture. Good clean violence is one thing. Attacking to leave a mark's something else again."

She's got a point.
*Zuko's voice, in his memory: "What the hell are you?"*
no subject
"Yeah. She does."
Another pause; he's thinking about monsters.
"I fucked up on this one."
no subject
*Andrew blinks up at him.*
What did you do?
