Do not even talk about it. I swear, if I never go home again, it'll be too soon. And I'm going back tonight, which is far too soon.

*sighs*

Ah well. Better make the most of it.

Oh, they're not that bad. *a bit nervously* Your mum wasn't upset about you staying out all Friday night, was she? I mean, not that we're not adult and all, but the Wrath of Molly is something I'd prefer to avoid...

*snorts*

No, yeah, no...

I mean, she was fine with it. I think she's actually faintly relieved that I'm not gay, although... well, I haven't told her who it is yet. I thought you might want warning in advance for the sudden interest, the questions.

*grins slyly* No, definitely not gay...

And of course I don't mind, about keeping to ourselves for a bit. But I'm afraid half the bloody bar knows already...we weren't exactly, erm, discreet the other night.

Anyway, what've you been up to?

*excitedly* Well, Tom gave me a list of all the dark wizards he had contact with back in 1954, and their hideouts. So I've been trying to track down as many of them as I can, seeing who they've been in contact with, what organizations their families are involved with, that sort of thing. It's brilliant, exactly the sort of work that made me want to be an auror in the first place.

You're not doing anything too likely to get you killed?

*tries not to look worried, 'cos he knows she can look after herself*

Nah, don't worry about me. To be honest, it's mostly surveillance work, which we all know is my specialty. *grins and changes her hair to sooty black*

Besides, things are just as likely to be life-threatening around here, sometimes. *laughs*

Yeah, well don't mind me if I don't find that particularly comforting.

Those two on speaking terms again?

*cranes her neck to see them, and bites her lip* Possibly. It's all very dicey, at this stage.

But Crowley and I are...whatever we are, again. Friends, I suppose. I'll just have to be a bit smarter this time around.

I know, I know, I don't know what's going on and I'm pretty sure it's too convoluted to come in at this stage and judge. But... I just want you to look after yourself, right?

*sighs* Honestly, I don't know if I should be or not. But he seems to need...something, I don't know what, but he and the angel both seem so lost. I know I can't fix it for them, but maybe just my friendship will make things a tiny bit better for the both of them. I hope.

But I will look after myself, I promise. Besides, I've got lots of other people looking out for me -- Aziraphale, Tom, Door, Peter, Sirius...and, well. You're keeping an eye on me too, I suppose? *smiles softly*
