Charlie comes from the staff quarters to the bar, carrying his guitar in one arm and a small, black, less-than-pleased-looking kitten in the other. He sits at the end of the bar and places the kitten on the top, fetches some pieces of luncheon meat from the carts, and puts them on a plate for the kitten to eat.
He adjusts the guitar on his lap and play,s keeping an eye on the kitten.
And on the angel.

"Do you love him?"
She doesn't say which him.

"Er."
Which is to say, he has certainly gone to bed with more than one person because, hello, rock star, but the thought had never crossed his mind to straighten out this particular mess, as threesomes work better when emotion is not involved.
"Er," he says again.

She tenses up, her eyes back on the argument carrying on elsewhere.
"Why can't Bartleby share?"

If the kitten is being evil, it will escape his notice for a bit.

In most circumstances, anyways.*

And he would simply laugh at the thought of Cow attacking Svava, even though Cow is stalking bits of sliced ham with a focused intensity uncommon in tiny kittens.

He would also point to himself and say Small and cute and far from innocent, so he understands that.
However, kittens tend not to be evil, more concerned with tuna and cuddles than death and destruction.

Meg would agree with the comment re: Charlie's lack of innocence. However, whoever said tuna and cuddles couldn't, in the end, lead to death and destruction?*

Like her mun is.*

He does, however, allow that Cow is attacking his hand like it's threatening the kitten's home and livlihood, which is a bit of a suprise.
"Ow! Dammit, Cow." He growls back at the kitten and bops it lightly on its nose.

I have a fair bit of experience with evil kittens, you know. WE had lots of feral alley cats and the like back home. *She adds, cheerfully,* Some of them were rabid.
