"I am all for punishment that matches the particular crime," says the Bright Shiner. "Not this catch-all punishment, levied by subjective judges who never wait for the whole story before condemning someone."

"What good is security if they aren't fair and wait for the whole story? They end up being more of a bully then security." She's from the world that until the whole story is found, everyone is innocent and security personnel can't hold you until you aren't unless your a flight risk.

Of course, Yrael has never held a very high opinion of Security, even though many of his friends are members.

"Truly, I scratched the man's face, he wandered over to Archie to get his attention before wandering off, and Archie then tried to arrest me."

She gave a frown. That didn't sound much better than how the police had worked just after finding out about lycanthropes. Shoot first, ask questions later.

"It's not like he wouldn't live or something. The fact that he walked of his on free will and not had to have been carried should earn you some points."

"Of course, the man in question is completely insane. Serial killer, if I have not missed my guess. He enjoys the power he feels it gives him." The puppet hisses, lightly. "And he does not even do it with style."

"With Archie's mood not being at its best, asking for 'points' may have just made things worse. As it is, if I get caught putting one toe out of line, I am to be locked up."

"Then he should have been glad that it was his cheek and not his throat." The words are faintly growled out. Serial killers gave humanity a bad name. As for the he in that statement, it's towards both the man in question as well as Archie.

She gave him extra scritches. "Well, you'll just have to be more careful about herding them outside first, won't you." There's a faint amusement in the voice, because if Yrael thinks someone deserves to bleed, she'll take is word for it. She trusts his judgment that much.

He purrs against her hand, glad in friendship and in trust.

Even if it is debatable whether or not he deserves that trust.

"I shall. If not into the forest, then out the front door will do equally well. Leave them to wander Death for as long as they can keep their spirit and their footing."

He's pack to her. And until he does something to break that trust, he'll have it.

"So long as it keeps you from getting caught." Was her murmured response as she settled into a relaxing scritching motion.
