Ace has taken over a table, spreading her notes out all over it. Unlike the Doctor, she hasn't gone rogue. She still needs to send reports back to Gallifrey now and then about what she's up to. Of course, they already know what she's up to, making this more of an exercise of remembering who her bosses are.

This may have something to do with how furiously she's scribbling. Ace has never liked busy-work.

"OW!"

Possibly she shouldn't have done that under a table.

Raven is not laughing hysterically.

Or loudly.

Or obnoxiously.

He is not that kind of bird.

She sulks at him emphatically from under the table.

"You suck."

Just in case he missed that.

"You, I think, are the one who was wanting to fly with a pen."

It's kind of like a swallow trying to lift a coconut, really.

Except pens are slippery.

"You are the one that stole it in the first place." Ace huffs back.

"I did not think, perhaps, that you were so devoted to scribbling."

Does she not yearn for distractions?

"Y'could have said, 'Hey Ace, let's go do sommat'." She points out sulkily.

Sure she does.

Just not ones that steal her pen and laugh at her.

Raven snorts.

"That, I think, is boring."

This explains so much, really.

"Well. Yeah." Ace has to admit that one.

This explains a lot as well.

"Still. Y'didn't have t'take my pen."

"No."

He grins unrepentantly.

"But then I am not often for doing things that I 'have' to."

"You still suck."

But she comes out from under the table. With her pen safely in an inside pocket.

Raven just makes a face at her.

"You are biased, perhaps."

"Totally." She leans against him lazily. "So what is it y'wanted t'do?"

Raven leans back, frowning in thought.

"This will do well enough, perhaps?"

Or there is always more games of tag.

Snow will not keep them down for long!

"Yes, but we're standin' in the middle of the bar. This could get awkward after a while." Ace points out, practically.

"There are couches?"

Sometimes Raven is not very helpful.

"Yes. Yes there are. But alas, we are not on them." Ace replies, drily.

"That, I think, is easily changed."

And sure enough, it is.

Couches are comfy.

Really.

And Raven does not tug very hard.
