Milliways. Jack is back, and has never looked happier, possibly. He's at the bar coming up with a list of things he thinks he needs. It's not very practical.
Oh well, the intentions are good. And he'd welcome company before he goes again, because he might not be back for a while.

Because that's what he's getting.
"It's been a while."
no subject
"It has. Are you still in India."
no subject
She eyes him. "You seem...happy."

The huge unspoken 'Together' in his voice is the best part. That's right, lady, they moved in. Jack somehow coninved his handsome, passionate, desperately wonderful boyfriend to move in with him. He's not sure what he did right along the way, but it worked.

And then the 'Parker and I' really registers. She does a slight doubletake, and "Together?"
no subject
He lets his voice sit in the word. Tastes it, lets it linger. The way it feels.

"You disaprove?"
no subject
She shakes her head. "I wouldn't have matched him to you."
no subject
He leans against the bar, folding his arms and resting his chin on them.
"Someone... quiet?"
no subject
She frowns. "Are you quite sure about it?"
no subject
He tilts his head, lets his eyes close.
"I love Parker, though."
no subject
She shrugs, at that. It's his choice.
Still, there will be Words with Parker later on.
no subject
"My old choreographer. You would like him."
no subject
"I should meet him."
no subject
Jack adores him.
"He does sculpting now."
no subject
no subject
Just.
"You and I."

D:!
no subject
"You know better than that. If you ever need money, you could meet Andrei if you liked, he sometimes offers people he's interested in to be sculpted."
no subject
no subject
He'll arrange it.
no subject
She glances around, makes a small face. "And the apartment? What should I do with it?"
no subject
There you go.
no subject
He gets a curious glance, but she doesn't ask why he won't stay there again.
no subject
He likes those things.

He smiles, and pictures the window.
"I like our home there."
no subject
no subject
He doesn't mind.
"With a bed now, and towels."
no subject
Jack may not need it as much, but Parker will.
no subject
He gets paid well enough to see to his needs.
no subject
The first performance was good, very good.
no subject
He loves people coming.

Classical, beautiful.

For Swan Lake? Always.
no subject
"That was the first one I ever saw. Back in Winnipeg."
no subject
The first time, she means.
no subject
She was terrible to her.
no subject
She smiles faintly, "You've got a lot of interesting friends, Jack."
no subject
He stands, and inclines his head politely.
"With Parker waiting."
no subject
She smiles, standing as well. "Take care, Jack."
no subject
He may not tell him, to be fair, but he appreciates it.
"I will see you soon."
And out he goes.
