There are such things as Swiss Army Knives of the future!!!!

Kaylee has one, and she's messing around with something that looks a lot like a motherboard. Every so often her hair falls out of its knot, and she twists it back up without paying much attention -- the elastic in her hairband is shot.

Yuna is in the bar (again), and she's eyeing Kaylee's gadgetry with a mixture of fascination and unease. "Hi, Kaylee."

She looks up -- and breaks into a smile, immediately, that's both warm and worried. "Yuna. Hey. I was hopin' -- you're okay, right?"

She nods. "I wasn't hurt myself. It was good of Simon to come help--of everyone."

"So it wasn't just him who came? -- go on and sit, if you want." She flips the pliers back in and puts her work aside.

She does, and shakes her head. She's smiling fondly. "No--there were a lot. Moiraine and Nynaeve Sedai, and Lucy Pevensie, and some people I hadn't met before. Um, a couple of little old ladies, and a boy, and a tall man, with pointed ears? And then Simon, of course."

Kaylee's face closes off just a little at the mention of Moiraine -- but she's nodding, the whole way through. "Good." Quiet. "That -- "

Yuna's just...young.

"Are you okay? Really?"

She smiles gently. "People keep asking that."

"That ain't an answer." Kaylee echoes it.

"No," she says.

It's just--people don't, outside of Milliways.

"It's the worst thing I've ever seen," she admits, her smile fading. "But--Sin's attack are a part of life in Spira. I can't lose hope."

"No." It's an agreement; she reaches for her multitool, begins to turn it over and over in her hands. "But -- if you can take a little while to not be okay -- it'll help, probably."

People keep saying that, too.

"Okay," she says. And she smiles. "Thank you. For being concerned."

Kaylee may feel a tug on her pant leg and if she looks down she will see an orange cat in hat and boots holding up a hair tie to her. "For you señorita."

"...xiexie." A little surprised, but not unappreciative. "Very much. -- that's a real nice hat."

He grins and straightens the hat a little, "Gracias. I saw you working and notices your hair was a little troublesome so I asked Bar for something that would help. Eh, what are you working on?" He tiptoes to peer over the edge of the table.

...which is really, really adorable.

Kaylee cannot quite stop herself from smiling (and has no reason to do so anyhow). "This ain't sendin' information along how it should be, and I'm tryin' to suss out why."

"Oh?" He looks up at her, and yes he is adorable isn't he? "That seems like it might be hard." He hops up onto a chair to get a better look at what she's doing. "You are good at this then, yes?"

"Hope so." With a crooked grin. "Seein' as it's what I get paid for."

Puss grins at her, "Ah, that is a good job, to fix things. I am a swordscat an adventurer." He places a hand on his chest proudly.

And now Kaylee is beaming. "Are there a lot of...swordscats...where you come from?"

Swordscat.

That is just about the best word ever.

"No." He puffs his chest out proudly, "I am the only one I know of. I have quite a reputation back in Far Far Away."

"I just bet you do -- cats don't know how to use pointy objects so much where I come from."

"Yes, many here do seem surprised when they first meet me." He nods. "Where are you from then?"

The strange army knife and the bother make Will quite curious and so he picks up his hot chocolate and walks over, "What does such a lovely thing do, milady?"

Will asks as he puts himself at an angle where Kaylee will see him when she looks up and so not be too suprised and does a slight bow with the question.
